It sounds charming until you see the rat bites.

13

u/[deleted] 3d ago

I had a lil white mouse as a pet who would escape her cage and I'd find her snuggled up asleep in my bed.

This world is so fucking sad bro

27

u/Cultural-Cap-2549 2d ago

As someone that became houseless vagabond for two years it still break my heart seeing stuff like this, being homeless can be OK if you have a Strong and healthy resilient mind, but if you add mental health problem + alcohol abuse and drugs it can fk up someone so bad and he end up like this, the thing is, this video show an obvious homeless but lot of homeless you cant even see they are at least in my country of France its like this, and in germany spain too.

I refuse to believe that guy is that nasty… it has to be an act right? RIGHT?

Edit: three replies and I’m already disgusted.

u/Excellent_Routine589 4d ago

He’s had a roach crawl on him mid stream…. Like let that be a barometer to how filthy the dude’s place is

102

u/awesomface 4d ago

Tbf roaches come around even if it’s not filthy, but he just has a level of not caring that they’re probably much more common for him.

101

u/Excellent_Routine589 4d ago

I mean, never had a roach crawl on me like that, and I grew up as a poor immigrant

However, my family had a trashcan… and I have seen pictures of Asmon’s desk

83

u/[deleted] 4d ago

I grew up in a developing country. We lived in one of those giant high-rises the Soviets built for us… bro you can hear them motherfuckers crawling through the old, crusty wallpapers. My parents were kind of clean freaks so while the apartments was shabby, it was absolutely spotless. Couldn’t say the same for our neighbors so we got contact infestation lol. Then we impulse-bought a cat. Within a month or two, I didn’t see a single roach. Ngl, I felt middle class lol. I fucking normalized roach infestation for my whole childhood.

11

u/whiterice_343 4d ago

Krushchevka?

18

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Yes!! Looks crude and dystopian but my fuck are they sturdy. Pretty sure they can take an 8.0 magnitude earthquake to the face and be like “who threw that piece of paper at me?”

12

u/whiterice_343 4d ago

Got bored one night and looked up the history behind them out of curiosity. After ww2, most of the eastern bloc was destroyed and those apartments were cheap, quick, and easy to mass produce.

19

u/Excellent_Routine589 4d ago

Oof! Yeah I never really had that with roaches, both in Mexico and in the US (though since my mention Soviets, my grandparents fled Russia to Mexico during the good ol USSR days)

Like even in Southern Mexico, you’d need to be living in super rural towns or in really poorly built places to have contact with roaches regularly. The worst I remember is that you might see them when taking out the trash, because naturally that’s where they like to be. And it was much of the same when we moved to the US, where on occasion you might see a few spring out when you open the trash bin or some crawling out of a sewer manhole cover at night, etc.

But I’ve never had a roach just crawl on me when totally awake and me being aware of it. I can’t think of any popular streamers where that happens to and they just blow it off like it’s whatever…. Like personally, my ass would IMMEDIATELY go into a cleaning frenzy if that ever happened to me

11

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Wait, yall fled to Mexico? Where you from? That is so wild. Things must have been pretty fucked up for y’all to flee to Mexico. No shade to the nation of Mexico and its peoples… Thank goodness my friend doesn’t know my reddit account. He’d be pissed if he read what I said about his country… he’d agree with me but berate me regardless, based on general principle lmao. I grew up in Mongolia during the 90s. There’s a shadow to the north, Russia. A shadow to the south, China. Fucking miserable lol.

19

u/Excellent_Routine589 4d ago

It’s actually kinda complicated but yeah lots of Soviets sorta fled to Mexico and some used it as a launchpad to get into the US eventually but others kinda just hung around, especially in the northern states from what I can tell. Also Mexico was doing well after WW2 (Mexican Miracle) so it actually was an attractive place to be for some. Great grandparents were Jewish so they HAD to leave in the 40s, and they brought their daughter (my grandma) along with and rest is history.

Fun fact: one of the founders of the Soviet Union was granted asylum in Mexico, Leon Trotsky…. He was eventually assassinated by the Soviet Union. So one of the Soviet figureheads lays to rest in Mexico City lol

10

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Holy shit, that’s so cool! Now I have to read about this. Thank you for the rabbit hole, kind redditor. Now I’ll be in my bunk… to research!!

5

u/bye-feliciana 4d ago

Where is he from? There are bugs in North America along the Gulf and Atlantic coast that are basically roaches, but there's nothing you can do to prevent them from coming in your home. They are not part of an infestation. We call them Palmetto Bugs, but they have other names as well.

People have irrational fears of them. I've had one crawl across my balls sitting on the toilet. My house is clean.

1

u/altymcaltington123 2d ago

My house didn't have roaches, and I grew up the kid of two meth addicted alcoholics in the blue ridge mountains.

Although truth be told, the wolf spider infestation and moms cleaning fiascos when doped out of her mind probably helped

3

u/AntonioVivaldi7 4d ago

Was the roach dirty though?

112

u/Bossa9 4d ago

he used the smell of a dead rat cooking in the afternoon sun as an alarm clock sooo

48

u/XAgentNovemberX 4d ago

He wiped the blood from his diseased gums away with his finger and then rubbed it on his wall. He addressed it when somebody on his stream asked why there was blood on the wall.

19

u/Thin_General_8594 4d ago

I'm gonna hurl

18

u/Mad_Moodin 4d ago

Nope he is.

He is rich af. But he is an extremely cheap and extremely lazy person.

Like the dude literally spends like 2k a month total. While being a multimillionaire. He could easily afford a personal cleaner, he just doesn't care.

11

u/whiterice_343 4d ago

Excluding his hygiene issues, I respect someone living a simple life regardless of income. But he needs to clean his room/house and himself.

1

u/JoJo-Zeppeli 2d ago

Simple living is one thing, that man is just rotting

1

u/whiterice_343 2d ago

That was my point yes

20

u/FoxCQC 4d ago

17

u/whiterice_343 4d ago

u/downsly46 4d ago

Is this real? This isn’t AI?? He doesn’t shower for 5 weeks???

13

u/FoxCQC 4d ago

That YouTuber usually takes scenes or strings together scenes but yes at some point asmon has said that. You can check his reaction video where he nods in agreement.

9

u/M3lony8 4d ago

sounds like depression to me

54

u/hodor_seuss_geisel 4d ago

Thirty rats in a human suit?

8

u/laruesaintecatherine 4d ago

Three hundred rats acting in concert to re-enact "weekend at Bernies 1"? Your figures are wayyy off for stage production.

2

u/Middle_Employment366 4d ago

They were probably eating the guy alive or something equally horrendous.

1

u/Nidh0g 3d ago

Sounds like a Rick and Morty character lol.

119

u/RelationHappy420 4d ago

Is he alive under there?🤣

120

u/OstrichSmoothe 4d ago

0

u/RelationHappy420 4d ago

I watched this with no volume at first as well as I thought they just ran out from under the blanket 🤣

92

u/ocfan122 4d ago

Chances are they were eating him no?

121

u/AdWhich7355 4d ago

I assume it’s cold down there plus the guy feeds them so they are friendly to him. He welcomes it I’m guessing and they arent complaining either lol

6

u/No-Box-6738 4d ago

That’s what I thought

13

u/Good-Presentation-11 4d ago

That Kenny Mccormick

13

u/Silver_Mall_5169 4d ago

Sadly the only affection this man gets on a day to day basis is probably from these rats.. he probably feeds and cares for them, makes me sad man..

8

u/MagicStar77 4d ago

So disturbing, poor homeless

27

u/Puzzleheaded-Load426 4d ago

Crazy? I was crazy once

17

u/Nand-Monad-Nor 4d ago

If I died I would want my rat buddies to eat my body.

10

u/idk-im-crazy 4d ago

Wouldn't it be cool if there was also nobody under the blanket?

5

u/CinnamonMoney 4d ago

Even for New York, this is wild

The Pied Piper has seen better days!

u/Logan729 4d ago

They’re his friends

3

u/AdWhich7355 4d ago

That’s actually pretty cute lolll

3

u/Blikenave 4d ago

This is like when Coraline goes into the bizarro world and her circus neighbor is now just a carnival suit filled with rats.

3

u/Mryoy12 4d ago

Asmon?

3

u/clussy-riot 4d ago

I have a phobia of mice and rats and this video makes me wanna throw up and cry

3

u/Revolutionary_Quit22 3d ago

They probably were eating him lol

3

u/RUOKAK 3d ago

I imagine in that point in life he can't help himself or anyone else but maybe just maybe he can be some kind of service to them if it's truly that cold outside. Never know

3

u/Greebuh 3d ago

That's how the plague was spread

7

u/Chemical_Success1153 4d ago

NOOOOOOO no no no no no no no

4

u/Proper_Health_5041 3d ago

Must be a cop.

3

u/ExplodingP3nguins 4d ago

This is just SCP-027.

3

u/NYCWartortle 4d ago

Severe mental illness is a huge issue in NYC. I sometimes wonder if they are oblivious to existential angst of it all and are maybe happier than we are in their own world.

25

u/abiteofcrime 4d ago

Definitely not happier dude, get real.

1

u/LiquidLens13 4d ago

Times are tough for the not so Fresh Prince. Only thing left is his horde of rats.

1

u/Elektrayansa 4d ago

Close enough, welcome back Willard!!

1

u/Oovie 4d ago

"Hail Raatma!"

1

u/ike_tyson 4d ago

That's nightmare fuel right there.

Yup straight up.

1

u/hippiegodfather 4d ago

I’ll believe it when I see an actual human under that blanket not half eaten by rats

1

u/TheDon_Calzone 4d ago

Damn. They were about to feast on his ass 😂

1

u/OldButtKicking 4d ago

I’m confused who lifted the blanket? someone under it or the guy filling?

1

u/WolvTheHero 4d ago

Turn on audio. As the rats run away you can hear the guy under the blanket say “oh my god”.

1

u/DogPrestidigitator 4d ago
