It turns out our entire constitution was really a list of gentleman's rules with no actual enforcement mechanism or actual dictated punishments and banned actions if the same political party gets enough representation in congress and has the president at the same time. It's pathetic and broken.

Tribalism has overtaken general ethics on the right. Trump has such a low standard of decency in almost every aspect of human character that Republicans have had to sell out every value they've ever had in order to continue supporting him. There's even credible evidence that the man has had sex with minors, he's been filmed with Jeff Epstein on so many occasions and Elon Musk straight up said he's in the Epstein Files, and nothing breaks through to these people. I'm convinced that if video evidence came out of him with children, they'd just call it AI until the news cycle ran its course. The party's fucked for at least a generation or two, at least until he croaks and one of his shitbag children loses an election.
