Well, to be honest, they scammed themselves. We know Americans are not the smartest bunch, but still, they should take some self accountability.

I don't know anyone who personally bought that token and I live in an area with a lot of Trump supporters. Maybe some heavy believers did but I think it's more than just a simple rugpull. Some of the transactions are very off too

Except he did it the day before inauguration, then proceeded to have Melania coin right after, at the hype of his presidency and the stock market.
