I used to hang out in this sub for basic crypto news but since no one really posts here anymore I don't know where to get this info...where do you guys get just basic news/info?

Dude. Just use a website and discuss in the daily. There are very low post limits on every topic, which is why a lot of important news that gets posted get automatically removed.

Or just visit the r/Ethereum daily thread. They do a much better job of covering news without censorship or post limits.

Nah it was very active until they got rid of moons...I never had to go anywhere else for info. And it was easy to separate the good info from the shills

Exactly. I don’t know why they did this, now you have to scroll through numerous annoying farm posts to even find the daily and the whole good vibe thing is missing.

This kind of action a couple of years ago would have been providing maximum entertainment in the sub.

They changed the timings of the daily, which led to even further reduced comments from a dead base. People kept hating on the moon farmers and LFG crew back in the day, but at least there was more momentum and liveliness. You could have really good interactions and conversations and there would be hundreds of comments.
