DISCUSSION Which decentralized exchange do you use to swap?
Iβm looking for suggestions on the best DEXs to use for swapping crypto. There are so many options out there, and while I like the idea of keeping full control of my funds without going through KYC, sometimes the experience can vary a lot depending on the platform.
Iβd like to know which decentralized exchanges you rely on most for good liquidity, fair fees, and reliable transactions.
Bonus points if they support multiple chains or have a smooth interface. Curious to hear what the community prefers

Which crypto do you want to trade? For ETH I use Uniswap, Jupiter for SOL.

Iβve tried a bunch of the usual suspects like Uniswap, Pancakeswap, etc. but honestly the experience can get clunky when youβre jumping chains or looking for consistent liquidity. Lately Iβve been using Levex and itβs been pretty smooth, cross-chain swaps without too much hassle, fees are reasonable, and the interface feels way less intimidating than some others. If you want something that balances ease of use with decent liquidity try this out.

I always use 1inch, it's MUCH MUCH cheaper than Uniswap, do yourself a favor and don't listen to anyone here telling you Uniswap. Matcha has also had decent spread occasionally.

1inch is just an aggregator. They find you the best rate across DEXes. Sometimes it's routed through Uniswap too.
Although 1inch is great, the best place to trade in any EVM is by using DefiLlama Swap. It's an aggregator of aggregators.
It's made by the trusted DefiLlama team too

I often use sushiswap and its cross-chain swap, that comes very handy

Jupiter charges a few bips on any trade. Use Kamino swap for 0 fee

I primarily use RocketEx. They do automatic conversions similar to atomic swaps using all of the available DEXs at their disposal.Β
Just find your crypto you want to send (walletless option*), the network/wallet you want to send/convert it to, input your deposit address, send your crypto to a randomly generated address for transfer, and they do all the hard work. I often save money or benefit from arbitrage.Β
This saved me BIG TIME, when Solana was doing their downhill plummet earlier this year, and deposits/withdrawals were suspended on most CEXs.Β
I used to use Kraken, but going the all-DEX route now has saved me 5% in total fees. No more deposit fees, transfer fees, swap fees, trading fees, withdrawl fees. Everything wrapped into one transaction, no KYC bullshit, and it's atomic. Even works with BTC (I normally deal specifically with BTC, and being able to do everything in a single transaction with practically 0 fees is phenomenal). They even support Monero/XMR.Β

Coinbase is the opposite of a DEX, and op wasn't asking what exchange to store their crypto.

How much are you attempting to swap and what country are you in?
If you are in the US or EU, dont use something like Changelly to swap 5 BTC, you are gunna have a bad time and get KYC/AML flagged.
If it's just small amounts of crypto, you can use something like SimpleSwap.
