EXCHANGES Is anyone actually using grovex.io?? [CEX]

I want to figure out just how legit this exchange is.

I found it by looking at coin market cap under the places that list of all volume coming from different exchanges.

I basically sent an application to list our token in every single one that I thought would be compatible with the Sui ecosystem.

So after playing to about a dozen centralized exchanges, the only one that I kept in contact with an actually had good communication with me and our telegram chat was grovex.

Now they want me to deposit 2500 USD into the exchange, which I don't actually have, I will have to borrow a friend, who says they will let me borrow it.

I want to do a little bit of diligence before I deposit my friends money into an exchange I've never personally used.

As you might have guessed by our seven year old Reddit account and the fact that I am manually applying myself to get on centralized exchanges, we haven't achieved much financial success, but we are a super legit project that has been alive for more than seven years and has crypto app people actually benefit from outside of just financially.

So, that's why I am asking. Everything seems fine, but I want to check because it's not my money and I feel like a total dumb ass if it was a big scam.

P.S. On coinmarketcap they say that they have $1 billion of daily volume on Bitcoin USDT. I know for an assumption that this is pretty fake because they are literally offering to run the market maker on my coin, which of course I want because I want volume to show up on coinmarketcap too

DEBATE US Treasury and USDT exploding USD money supply

We know if from Casinos. You enter, exchange money for tokens, play and once you leave, you change back to FIAT. In the meantime, the Casino doesnt do anything with your money.

To my understanding, Crypto and Tether is different and the US Goverment is going to use Tether to increase money supply. Here’s my thinking:

Treasury issues a bill (1) of 100 USD and Joe Sixpack buys it.
Treasury takes the 100 USD and sends it to Tether.
--> Tether sends 100 USDT back to Treasury
--> Tether sends 100 USD back to Treasury to buy the next 100 US Treasury bill (2)

Now Treasury has 200 USD and 100 USDT.
--> Treasury sends money from bill 2, 100 USD to Tether
--> Tether sends 100 USDT back to Treasury
--> Tether sends 100 USD back to Treasury to buy the next 100 US Treasury bill (3)

Treasury now has 300 USD and 200 USDT.
Since USDT is becoming a fully valid means of payment, US Treasury now has 500 USD to spend, only taking on 300 USD of new debt.

Am I missing something or is this really happening?

MOONS When is the Moons distribution?

I’ve noticed that in RCC it’s pretty easy to find all kinds of information about Moons: there are discussions about MoonWeek, price posts, governance votes, and various initiatives. But what really surprises me is that there doesn’t seem to be any clear information about the actual distribution process.

For example:

  • When exactly is the snapshot taken?
  • On which day are the Moons distributed?
  • Where can we see the exact number of Moons distributed and how much each user received?

It seems logical that the community should have a transparent and predictable schedule — with dates, steps, and final results. But right now it feels like the only way to know is to wait for a mod post or simply check your Vault once the Moons show up.

Am I missing something? Does RCC have an official page or pinned info that specifically covers the distribution schedule (not just MoonWeek)?

SPECULATION America’s Hidden $863B Gold Stash Potentially To Be Used to Fund a Bitcoin Reserve

The article discusses a potential gold price revaluation that could be used to fund President Trump's bitcoin ambitions. The author suggests that the US government is hiding the true value of gold, which is estimated to be $863 billion, and is instead using a book value of $11 billion. This discrepancy could be used to fund a US sovereign wealth fund and a strategic bitcoin reserve. The article also touches on the potential consequences of a gold price revaluation, including a spike in interest rates and a decrease in the value of the US dollar. The author argues that the US government is hiding the true value of gold to avoid admitting that the US dollar has lost 98.7% of its value against gold since the Bretton Woods agreement was abandoned.

Key Points:

  • The US government is hiding the true value of gold, estimated to be $863 billion, and is instead using a book value of $11 billion.
  • The discrepancy between the true value of gold and the book value could be used to fund a US sovereign wealth fund and a strategic bitcoin reserve.
  • A gold price revaluation could lead to a spike in interest rates and a decrease in the value of the US dollar.
  • The US government is hiding the true value of gold to avoid admitting that the US dollar has lost 98.7% of its value against gold since the Bretton Woods agreement was abandoned.

Unfortunately I fell victim to this yesterday. I know its my own fault and i only have myself to blame. It works for the first day and into the second day and then stopped. Contact support link doesn't work. Scammers are getting more creative as time goes on.

Posting this for visability and awareness that these things will keep getting worse as the crypto market is pumping and peolle are desperate these days to try and make a little extra on the side.

Stay safe and aware out there everyone. Screen shots posted

DISCUSSION When political figures turn their influence into a memecoin…

I was wondering if we might be witnessing a new phase in memecoin culture.

At the beginning, Dogecoin was just a joke, Shiba a community, PEPE an internet meme. Today, we’re seeing entire political families turning their image into crypto projects.

It’s both fascinating and worrying:

Fascinating, because it shows how deeply crypto has entered the public imagination, to the point where politics is now using it as a communication tool.

Worrying, because many people may invest out of loyalty or ideology rather than real analysis.

I want to particularly mention the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project. Apparently, there’s a group tied to Trump that first entered crypto by investing in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others, and now they’re pushing their own token. Trump already had a “memecoin” with his name, his wife also launched one under her name, and now they’re going further with WLFI. What struck me is the speed: some exchanges already launched it in Pre-Market, and even in Futures (Bitget, for instance). It’s no longer just about “listing,” it jumps straight to derivatives.

And it makes me wonder: maybe crypto will never grow beyond influence — whether it’s political figures, celebrities, or CT influencers. Influence itself is becoming the raw material of new tokens.

I don’t know if I’m wrong here, but does anyone else see, like me, a dangerous drift that mixes politics too much with decentralized finance?

If you zoom in on the last photo, the coin he shared is CWOIN. I don't understand why Binance is promoting such a low MCAPP coin so much. I think they will list it, but I would also like to get your thoughts on whether it is an investable coin or did Binance just share it? ………………………………………. ………………………………………. ……………………………………….

ADVICE Anybody Use Finchpay As A Payment Platform?

Finchpay is being suggested as a payment converting platform so people can use a credit card to pay for goods and services when merchants only accept crypto without having to actually use a cryptocurrency wallet. I’m wondering if any of you have used Finchpay as a payment method and what your experience has been, particularly, is it safe, is it secure, is it a legitimate platform for paying without having to open a separate crypto account. I’m not interested in buying crypto outright so I thought this might be easier. Thanks for any input in advance!

ADVICE New to trading. Like brand new

I recently got into trading cryptocurrency around (I have been mining Pi through the Pi app for a few years now and had a bit of pi available to trade) I had ~$10 worth of pi and am now trading it around and learning the ropes a bit. I am using the Pionex app for this.

I was pretty much wondering if this was even going to be enough to get started with? It seems if I play my cards right I can potentially gain around 30 cents to 50 cents just from a good 5% price jump.

I figured I would start really low and work my way up, that way I don't lose a bunch of money just learning the ropes but this is a lot slower than I imagined. It's nothing like the TV shows like Mr Addams and his stocks lol "It's up 40! 50! Oh back down. 20! 10..." Lol does the excitement come with bigger trades?
