Braniac - Who is your fan cast
Mine is Glenn Howerton. I know James gunn almost casted him as Star Lord in GG. I think he would make an excellent Braniac.

Chapter One: Gods and Monsters If Brainiac ends up being the main villain of ‘Man of Tomorrow’, how would you like them to approach his character?
Brainiac appearing in Man of Tomorrow would make this his first ever appearance in a live-action movie (seriously, how has it taken them so long to do this?!), and there have been some very different takes on his character over the years. Would you prefer it if they stuck with Brainiac just being a hyper-intelligent alien scientist, or made him an artificial intelligence like they did in Superman: The Animated Series? Personally, I kind of hope they combine the concepts - have Brainiac be a Coluan who’s also a cyborg capable of connecting to his skull ship through his implants. And above all, you have to emphasise how alien Brainiac is - make him as different to Luthor as possible while still serving as a great foil to Superman.

Superman (2025) Is Mr Terrific Actually Capable of this?
I know he has peak physical human capabilities but I thought their armor was meant to at least stand some chance with a metahuman like Superman yet Mr Terrific just knocks them out with a single punch everytime. This is just a yes or no question but a further clarification can be provided, just please not something like "Oh the writer just can do whatever they want him to do"

Clayface Do you think they're going to put clayface on a hero/antihero route?
I didnt like the idea of him having his own solo movie at first cause i always thought of him as just a batman villain, but he's been a hero a few times in the comics. Giving him a strong position in the dcu (a movie) for that reason makes more sense to me.

DC Universe Is Lex Luthor being set up to be an anti-hero in the DCU?
Going by two of the three illustrations released to announce Man of Tomorrow (2027), it suggests Superman and Luthor will not only be fighting against each other but also teaming up, with the speculation being to face against Brainiac.
I think the two likely scenarios are that Superman gets Luthor out of prison because he needs his expertise, and the second he gets his suit he fights him but realizes there is a great danger ahead of them that requires a temporary partnership. After eliminating the threat, Luthor will attempt a "redemption tour" that will take time but eventually he will find himself in better faith with the public and will use the distrust of others that have seen him do terrible things to them directly to try and paint opposition in a negative way, but probably less over-the-top than what he attempted to do to Superman in the first movie. Eventually, he will find himself in a position to get into politics.
The other scenario is that Superman goes to him for help, he reluctantly agrees, and helps Superman stop the danger facing the world, but then uses the opportunity to fight the Man of Steel only to fail and go back to prison., or he seemingly gets lost in the wreckage surrounding the final battle and is presumed gone only to take the opportunity to build up the Legion of Doom in the dark.
What say you?

Peacemaker Why does Argus keep sending people on missions with a specific weakness, knowing it’ll be a problem?
first in The Suicide Squad there’s sending Weasel, a literal weasel, on a mission where he needs to swim to shore. Later in the movie Bloodsport is revealed to have musophobia, a fear of rats, yet was assigned with someone who controls rats. Then in the new Peacemaker episode, Fleury shows that he has “bird blindness”, on a mission to survey the guy known for having a bird.
i assume it’s intentional by now and gunn’s realized it, but i wonder if it’s just for the joke of having a reason for the character to fail, or it eventually becomes a plot point and maybe it’s somehow explained that Argus intentionally does this for whatever reason. what do you think?

Flag Family Spoiler
I'm new to the dcu so I got a ask ... Why is Sr. out to get peacemaker? I mean, yeah he killed his son but in reality ... Jr. Was leader of the suicide squad which is a team that takes missions no one expects them to live through.
I mean, it's in the name. He was expectes to die and he did. Wouldn't you be more angry at yourself, his lifestyle followed yours directly. Shit, even Waller is more responsible, she made him the leader of the team, while she, gave peacemaker, behind Jr.s back, a more extensive mission.
I mean going after peacemaker is the lowest hanging fruit of accountability. Seems weak and like a last ditch effort to be the dad he wasn't.

DC Universe What are your DCU headcanons?
They can be big ones or little ones, I’m just loving this new universe and all the detail.
An inconsequential headcanon I have is that because Lex found weaknesses for Superman and things to avoid for Ultraman simultaneously, he originally included a cape in Ultraman’s costume, but removed it after developing more and more ways Superman can be fought like pulling his cape

Chapter One: Gods and Monsters There IS a perfect Batman out there
I believe in James Gunn, but I really think he missed a great opportunity here...

DC Universe What should Lobo's "needle drop" moment be to in the DCU?
"A needle drop is a film and TV technique where a pre-existing, typically popular, song is used to evoke a specific mood or emotion within a scene, rather than an original musical score."
I can see the following being good fits if ever the moment comes (most likely in Supergirl next year),
"Back in Black" by AC/DC
"Walk" by Pantera
"Sad but True" by Metallica
"Superbeast" by Rob Zombie
I actually think "Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit would be fun but I think that could be seen as chasing Netflix's Devil May Cry series...
