Just left the cinema. It isn’t as bad as some early review said in Rotten Tomatoes. I actually enjoy the film and like it touches upon the debate of morality and international politics. The VFX is exceptional, especially with wt they have done to Dr Fate. Lastly, although I kinda figure it out from interviews, I’m still thrilled to see Henry Cavil finally returns as Superman!!!!!!

The ideas and action were fantastic, imo.

I think going in with no expectation for world building would have worked better. I spent too long thinking about how random the back story seemed. About 45 min in to the movie I just sat back and enjoyed the ride and I really liked it.

Seems like the type of movie I'll stumble on half way thru on TBS 4 or 5 times a year and watch thru.

Yes, the “international police working around assume they know best” JSA vs “violent but local people’s champion” Black Adams angle is interesting and somewhat of a fresh take.
