Dr Fate was to toned down. I guess it would be hard to have him in a movie with his true comic powers because he would win instantly.

Doctor Fate is vunerable to other magic users, so getting taken down by BA and Sabbac isn't out of character.

The biggest problem with dr fate was how many fucking times he took off his helmet, he literally took off his helmet to die instead of literally doing anything else to save himself.

Yes, why would you keep taking it off to be vulnerable. I think they wanted to give the actor’s face more screen time with what they spent on him.

It’s like they copied Marvel where Dr Strange gave up the time stone to win.
