I went in with an open mind and came out thinking it was aight.

I’ll give it a 6/10. The little kid was really fucking annoying. And whoever decided to put in the most blandest most basic fucking music should get fired.

Other than that, the backstory was cool, the humor got me a few times, and I enjoyed Hawk-man and Doctor Fate.

Who tf thought having a spunky skateboarding kid was a good idea? He was so obnoxious. It was like they took the most annoying aspect of Terminator 2 and made it 30% of a movie. And his effing skateboard became the equivalent of the thermos from Hubie Halloween by the end of it. He was unbearable.

I have to be honest

I love that level of 90s cheese. I wish they gave him a boombox, backwards hat, etc. My issue with the kid is that they didn't go far enough

yeah the kid's acting was pretty bad. he was just so blande especially when he was giving that "empassioned rally speech" to the people in the street at the end.

Also when he was trying to be the freddy analogue when he woke up adam in his bedroom asking about powers. he was supposed to be frantic excited but he just spoke fast with zero expression.

I think the kid was supposed to remind him of his own son to ground him to this time
