Look what they did to my boy Dr Fate. I hope that since the helm disappeared it means it was an illusion too and he is holidaying away from the Society.

My thought as I watched that was they want to leave it open to Pierce Brosnan. A lot of times actors of his caliber don’t want to be tied down.

Now whatever option they choose (bringing him back or dead) can make sense.
