I actually liked the movie. Not a fan of The Rock, and his acting is one note like a lot of action heroes present and past; Schwarzenegger, Keanu, Tom Cruise. Since he didn't have a lot of speaking lines, I thought he did a decent job fulfilling the role, even sarcastic and funny in parts.

The JS team stole the show, Dr Fate needs a standalone movie, and of course Hawkman was bad*ss. Great special effects, it was dark and gritty, something Marvel movies, especially those of late, never seems to pull off well, adding in their special Disney brand of forced dad jokes. I would recommend it, and watch again. Oh and excellent soundtrack!

Compare The Rock to Cruise is a disrepect to Tom. The man can absolutely act in different kind of roles (Vanilla Sky, Collateral, The Last Samurai, Tropic Thunder, ...). Yes he is known for action movies because he loves doing action stunts, but saying Tom Cruise is one note just means you only watched Mission Impossible.
