Lights wincon: Super elaborate scheme to try and figure out Walter real name and write it in the death note without getting caught.

Yeah, but he’s only known to the criminal underworld as “Heisenberg”, managing to keep it from his DEA brother in law who was actively looking for Heisenberg for like three or four seasons. Same way that Light Yagami’s identity is pretty easy to find as a “normal” japanese teenager, the difficulty for L/Near was always conclusively connecting Light to Kira

Isn’t the whole premise of the show that someone tries to find Kira’s secret identity? Walter doesn’t care about the divine, he’s already acknowledged he’s going to Hell and isn’t particularly religious. He would be very intimidated by the existence of the death note but Walter White would literally never just give up and accept that there’s nothing he can do. He would make an attempt to track Light down, regardless of what other people think
