Light’s wincon: Write down Walter’s name

Walter’s wincon: Find out where Light lives, travel there, find him and kill him before Light writes down his name

Walter's whole wincon relies first and foremost on being capable to try and kill what at that point pretty much everyone on Earth believes is the Actual Fuckin Almighty Will of God Incarnate

If he has any reason at all to assume Light is trying to kill him or his family, or trying to harm his business he’ll kill him. Walter doesn’t fuck around

Again, he doesn't know Kira is an actual person. Everyone in Death Note other than L's associates believe Kira is just God

Isn’t the whole premise of the show that someone tries to find Kira’s secret identity? Walter doesn’t care about the divine, he’s already acknowledged he’s going to Hell and isn’t particularly religious. He would be very intimidated by the existence of the death note but Walter White would literally never just give up and accept that there’s nothing he can do. He would make an attempt to track Light down, regardless of what other people think
