I’m more referring to the idea that Milo’s ancestors got onto Death’s list, but due to extreme luck or talent survived up until the present day. The show even joked that the Murphies was indirectly responsible for Mt. Vesuvius erupting. Heck if the two franchises got a crossover somehow, then maybe the Murphies are descendants of the Oracle of Delphis or Cassandra and she’s the original visionary
Murphy law itself literally gave up, Got lazy and just started making shit explode instead of anything creative because Milo’s survived this long. This is a legitimate thing that happens and is brought up in series.
Death doesn’t fight directly. They set up overly complicated, domino effect-like Rube Goldberg machines to kill their victims. Milo has literally faced identically things in his sleep and won. By no means a traditional fight, it’s more so “Can Milo survive Final Destination” than anything.
Love this MU, also, this is a battle where an unseeable entity with the ability to manipulate fate to cause a bunch of different “accidents” to kill people fights a guy who’s kinda just pretty tough, really smart, and has the ability to avoid said accidents, and while there isn’t much of a proper connection, it vibes a lot, in other words, this MU is literally what if WOU was the pursuer in Tooru vs 096 instead of the pursued.
It would be funny that the ending would be Death trying to do his biggest fate fuckery on milo only to backfire and do a Tom cat and hit himself with the fate fuckery cause him to die instead of milo who was casually minding his own business
