Im rooting and betting for Mater (Mater literally is more powerful than he seems, from being able to alongside Lightning McQueen survive a fall from the moon to earth in seconds surround by fire and perfectly fine iirc being calcled City Level, to literally scaling UFOs like Matox and that Giant UFO who literally can fly in space reacting to asteroids with Mater flying in space passing stars which is MFTL and at peak speed literally traveling back in time with a device on his nose by sneezing with sheer speed being immeasurable speed at his peak, Mater is also more experienced I mean has been a proffesional wrestler, a trickster, a detective, a racer, the world's best driver backwards, a fire fighter, a bullfighter, etc via Cars Tunes making him the smartest too ironically and he also ironically may even have skill via being able to fight with martial arts despite being a vehicle and has ALOT of more arsenal and versatility than Donkey does, yeah I believe Mater should ironically win this because how unpredictable Cars Tunes adventures made him).
Honestly at first I didn't really vibe with the mu, mainly for the fight dynamic, but the more I think about it, the more I like it

In Cars on the Road he literally cheated death on the 3rd episode, and if you composite him with his Spy Gadgets and his Tall Tales stuff he should reasonably stomp
I get Donkey has Dragon on his side, but by that point, that would be outside help, so if get Dragon in this debate then Maters allies should considered as well
Even then... I can see Mater beating both of them at the same time, lol
