I'm gonna sound like a broken record, but Tooru vs Makima. Absolutely zero fight potential, and no chance for Makima to do anything except die over and over again
There's basically no fight. It's just 096 aimlessly chasing Tooru around until he kills himself(at least, that's what the idea is). It basically treats 096 as a complete joke and 096 also dosent have anything in the way of combat besides flailing his arms. The intent is that if 096 reaches Tooru, he'll be instantly killed, but 096 isnt really fighting Tooru, he's just fighting his Calamities (which take the form of other SCP's for some reason). Not to mention what if 096 ends up getting overwhelmed and just..... stops fighting and leaves Tooru alone(like during his iconic battle with 682)? Literally no one took that into account (especially not the guy that pitched this MU.) While that would work as it's own thing, it sucks in a DEATH BATTLE. This MU has the same problems that Kevin vs SCP-4666 has but to a slightly lesser degree.
The DBM is acting like this MU is the most popular MU in existence when it's only been around for 2 months and is only really popular here. (Same with Flowey vs The Princess and Omori vs Room). It is just infuriating to me at least. This isnt the first time the DBM has overhyped MU's saying there "inevitable" when they only get discussed here (and to an excessive degree at that. And it DEFINITELY won't be the last.
The connections are ass. It basically just another unstoppable force vs immovable object fight. We already had Among Us vs Fall Guys and theres plenty of matchups of that dynamic that has ACTUAL connections (Jenny Wakeman vs Robotboy, Rachel vs Remilia etc.)Â
Also, does SCP need more than one episode? I mean too me, SCP Foundation seems one of the least needed franchises for a return.

Despise isnât the right word, Iâd say itâs too harsh but cell vs metal sonic is so boring, itâs hard carried by dialogue and music, itâs just their to have cell be fed to metal just for hype moments and aura, cell arsenal doesnât bounce off metal, who has several transformations but he canât really use that to full potential when cell canât compete in any way unless you composite him fully, it blowing up the way that it did is so odd especially since I think their alts actually provide interesting dynamics which are equal if not superior to this matchup
How is AM even supposed to fight? At best I can only see his "fight" being a conversation he has with his opponent. And that's probably the most interesting approach since the opponents I know he has (Caine, The World Machine, Ultron, Malware, Cyn and Monika for some reason) are more interesting as interactions rather than fights
I like it, I think the fight will be really entertaining even if it is a stomp. Ultron is dope af and Cyn has a really good personality to clash with Ultrons.
I guess, I just can't think of any real similarities beyond evil ai though, they look, act, think and fight completely differently, not even differently in interesting ways, just arbitrarily different, and from a combat standpoint it would probably just be Ultron burying Cyn under drones until he just hacks the solver
The only reason I like this is the banter potential but otherwise not a fan. One of the few Uzi MU she wins since Blitzø gets stomped hard. He is a versatile fighter with decent stats but he is nowhere near close to get past Uzi hacks as she can do a lot of things he has no way to counter. He has dimension teleportation with the Asmodeus crystal but Uzi can just teleport as well (not through dimensions but still teleporting) and he just gets deleted if hit with [Null]
A little girl dressed in a maid outfit who lost her parents during the rampage of a Skullgirl, her verses resident big threat, and was taken into an orphanage, only to later lose everyone there too, nearly getting enslaved by the mafia if her closest friend from the orphanage hadn't distracted them and gotten mutilated to near death as a result. Wishing to save everyone, she'd make a wish on the Skullheart, and become a Skullgirl herself, with her wish being corrupted from wanting to save her friends to wanting vengeance against the mafia for taking them away.
Oh thatâs fair. I donât know if I despise it but Iâm not particularly interested in it either. I do think Aang deserves to come back but the MU is meh for me personally. Hope the episode is great though
I'm not a fan of most Cyn MU's because the connections (which are my favourite part) are surface level with most OP's giving like 1 or 2 of them and they are something like 'evil AI'.
This is why it's shocking to me that whenever I bring up Cyn vs Infinite, people will say it has no connections. Like Infinite has actual thematic connections alongside similar abilities/movesets. This should be the Powerscaling goldmine, but it's just ignored!
So yeah, most Cyn MU's end up in my 'least favourite' pile. I've not checked out Malware yet though. I've heard he's got some good stuff, I just need to find a way to watch Ben 10 to see for myself
Bruno (Jojo Part 5) VS Satsuki (Kill La Kill): Never got the appeal as Bruno is a much more grounded character in terms of fighting compared to the over the topness of Satsuki. It just would not mesh well without completely going against why people like those characters in the first place. Also the connections are whatever.

It can also be a sparring match, as Leo likes to semi provoke people into fighting, and Izuku can even help Leo mid fight, like if he thinks he's not good enough for his family

Its okay! But don't worry, I'll respect your opinions, but I went with this version for two reasons. 1. Everything I said and 2. This Leo is so much different from the other Leo's, like personality and power wise, that's why I like it so much. I feel like having Rise Leo be composited into vasily different versions of him don't work for me

Most of mine have been covered already but Fazbear vs Frankenstein, Ridley vs Vilgax/Vile, Samus vs Firefly, Beetlejuice vs the Mask, Luigi vs Shaggy/Geronimo and although Iâve come around to it a little I still donât like Walter vs Light. I donât feel super strongly but Lucina vs Groyvle doesnât seem right to me either

2: I do not think there is a way you could have the fight have good choreography. Zeus' whole deal is big speed and big attack, which is completely opposed to Shao Kahn, who is a fighting game character and, while he does have high speed feats, he is not depicted going that fast in combat. It's hard to explain. Just read round 2 of RoR and you'll see how their fighting styles do not mesh well at all
These two combined factors mean that there is no way for this episode to happen and for me to be happy about it. The dialogue potential is pretty good but that just does not make up for the flaws I've stated.

Tartaglia (Genshin Impact) vs Jetstream Sam (Metal Gear), honestly I donât see why these 2 are popular opponents for each other also the waiting period and the winner would be a total mess no matter what happens. The connections between the 2 are decent (Battle hungry warriors who fought and trained as children who are rivals to the main characters) but the fight dynamic doesnât really work for either of them, Sam is mainly just a sword fighter so it doesnât play off of Childeâs super forms and powers that well unlike his altâs.
Also the waiting period and the victor is just going to be a non stop controversy that kills the fun, the waiting period would be nothing but giga chad memes of how Sam solos fiction (like with Vergil, Raiden and Aizen) and how Genshin is the most popular punching bag to make fun of on the internet whenever it comes up. Whoever wins is also going to cause controversy because itâs most likely that Childe would win this and Sam fans getting mad that he lost to a gacha character and Childe fans would be mad due to losing despite out stating and having more advantages over Sam.
Personally, I'm just kind of annoyed at any Shonen Jump vs Shonen Jump matchup at this point. If I had to single out one, however, that'll be Asta vs Meliodas. Asta's first time on the show was terrible due to both DB's oversimplified explanation (if not outright hatred of his character) but also the toxicity between the BC and MHA fandoms, so he shouldn't come back to the show, especially if the fandoms of a matchup have already shown just as much toxicity towards it outside of DB.
If Iâm going to be honest, itâs Tommy VS Lloyd, not that I hate every bone in my body, itâs just I canât get myself into liking it, not because I donât care for either series (Power Rangers and Ninjago) I do like them and their characters, itâs more of me not understanding it, even from a fan of both characters

Shoutout to Flowey vs Princess, I donât hate it but think itâs overrated. Dimentio is a much better MU for Flowey and Beatrice isnât an awful shout for the Princess
I have 2, the first is Cell vs Metal Sonic, serious i never understand this matchup, if you suggest this matchup in 2021 or 2022, they will say this matchup is mid or bad, but Bowser vs Eggman basically change Metal Sonic character and now everyone, especially Sonic fans wants Metal gets Hype and Aura moments again, so they choose Cell to been fed by Metal, so they can see Metal being gigachad sigma hype aura again, i already don't like this, as Dragon Ball fan, i don't want a matchup when my favorite character is getting fed to satisfy another fandom favorite character, i want a matchup when both character are equally treat, this is why i prefer Cell vs Omega Zero and Metal Sonic vs Bass, and the second is Luz vs Anne, look i don't despite this matchup or people who like it, it's just i don't care about Luz, Anne, The Owl House and Amphibia in general lol
I didn't mind it initially since it gave me a chance to talk about one of my favourite games and I didn't expect it to go anywhere, but people talk about it like it would be some perfect battle, when it isn't even a fight, it's Flowey running the Slay the Princess gauntlet, most of the interesting interactions would realistically never happen, nearly every take on it I've seen horrifically misunderstands the Princess, and on top of all that it's genuinely the most likely Slay the Princess matchup and that infuriates me
I also hate Tooru vs SCP-096 for... basically the same reasons as you hate Flowey vs The Princess.
I love 096, it's in my top 10 favorite Euclid SCP's and I was originally fine fine with the MU until I learnt that there was ALSO no fight and essentially reduced Tooru to a prize and 096 into a complete fucking joke.

I don't hate it but my big problem with it is that Mysterio has a that helmet and suit usually built in with air filters or just made so he doesn't inhale any of his own illusion fumes so he doesn't get infected with the fear toxins unless it breaks or is injected to his veils, which would be hard considering the durability of his suit but also, Mysterio is famous for using live model decoys and animatronics to fight in his place, so it wouldn't even work because scarecrow could just be fighting a remote controlled robot that doesn't feel fear
Yeah, specially the visuals since with the illusions and fear gas. It would be a street tier fight between two dudes that looks like a eldritch horror of pure nightmare fuel that distortes the world around him battling a master of the mystic arts that can shift reality with his spells. Legit has the potential to look as impressive as Bill vs Discord or Darkseid vs Thanos

Iâd rather Sonic.exe show up on Death Battle over something like Sonichu. At least the person who made the original story and the people who are currently in charge of the modern-day version of the character & story didnât [A LIFETIMEâS WORTH OF REDACTED NOT JUST LIMITED TO THE PAST FEW YEARS].

I feel like there are way better options for both sides. For starters, Adventure Time, despite being based off of D&D, is ironically more grounded, while Regular Show goes off the walls and ALMOST crosses the line into toonforce shenanigans.

Edelgard vs Kylo Ren. The matchup feels like a powder keg of bad internet discourse waiting to happen, the connections mischaracterize Edelgard in all my least favorite ways, and the fight dynamic is kinda broken by the fact that itâs a Force user vs someone with no counter to the Force.
I like it but only because I'm a fan of both shows and would love to see the two interact even if it is in a fight. Do not care about the debate or who's the winner
Literally any of the FNAF character matchups. The only character with more to them on a powerscaling level than âwalking robot mascot thatâs hard to killâ is Afton. Saving him for a second, most characters from the series have no real weapons, no real armor, no techniques, nothing. Itâs boring. But the worst part comes in the Afton discussions
Jesus Christ. Springtrap, Afton, glitch trap, whatever version you want to use has lore that is so inconsistent, so wonky, so impossible to call solid foundation that you have a character that can simultaneously do everything and nothing. This rabbit man has been claimed to be everything from wall to outer and no one can agree on any version. The books, the games, the movies, all of them say different things and contradict each other. Hell heâs been retconned repeatedly so much, even heâs not consistent.
Itâs a fight that no matter who you give as an opponent, Junko, Chucky, whatever itâs just gonna end up with insufferable fans yelling about how they got everything wrong and he should win against everyone and that if you look at logbook section four but ignore FNAF 5 and also take silver eyes into consideration, thenâŚ.
The fanbase for this thing are the worst godzilla and sonic fans combined.
The one I can see working is the mimic, as itâs a shapeshifter and has real powers consistent amongst its limited appearances. Maybe against the typhon from Prey. That would be fun. But Im probably the only one whoâs happy FNAF hasnât shown up on the show and hopes it never will. Thatâs nothing against the material or FNAF fans in general, I enjoy the games a lot. I just think the whole franchise blows for powerscaling
The FNAF fandom being... the FNAF fandom also will NOT do him any favors should Springtrap(or any FNAF rep) get on. The crew hated FNAF on DB for a reason.

I dislike a lot of the comparisons, like comparing a war veteran of multiple intergalactic wars to a serial killer, it lacks a good connection to Bhaal for Durge, it's a pretty rough fighting style clash, and it's just ultimately shallow.
I'll cast a broad net and say any and all matchups with characters who aren't known for fighting. Just feels odd to me. Like do you really want to see a FNAF animatronic in DB? Really?
