I didn’t think about Misaka VS Static as a winner vs winner matchup, now I want to see it quite a bit. Could be a good matchup for a DBX if they bring that back.

I'd like an happy ending for both characters. Either Asriel rewriting the timeline and making Princess her own person not connected to the Shifting Mound or Princess making Asriel part of her so he doesn't have to go back being Flowey. Due to all the meta/time shenanigans I think it's possible for them to do the kill and then resurecting the opponent and give them an Happy ending
I'm rooting Asriel and (for the moment) betting no one. I have an argument for Asriel winning but I'm not very sure on the Princess side since I haven't played the game yet. Once I play Slay the Princess I will decide who I will bet for.

For Killua vs Akame I'd like to have the setup be Night Raid sends Akame to kill Killua, for Power vs Papyrus I'd like for Papyrus to give a speech similar to the one he gave the player in the genocide route only for Power to cut him off, for Bruno vs Satsuki I'd like for Bruno to unzip Satsuki's torso off only for Satsuki to continue fighting through pure will and skill, for Alucard vs Makima I'd like for banter revolving Makima calling Alucard a dog and Alucard doing the "If I'm a dog then you're dog food" line, for Denji vs Seras I'd like for both to bite the other to drink their blood only for Seras to stop because Denji's blood tastes horrible, and for Joker vs Junko I'd like moment similar to Madara vs Aizen where both laugh at the same time. My favorite matchup here is probably Joker vs Junko with Alucard vs Makima and Killua vs Akame as close seconds. The winners are Akame, Power, Bruno if they don't use Kill La Kill IF and Satsuki if they do, Makima, Denji, and Junko.
Absolute mega sized apocalyptic levels of peak being dropped here. This matchup is so peak that peak no longer exists, instead everything shall be compared to Spike VS Revy.

I would say it's still a good time to do, FF tends to be relevant (even though Lighting herself isn't, maybe with a re release or remaster?) but people really want a non FF7 rep and a main character like Lighting could be good for that, but Xenoblade still gets a lot of love with Xenoblade X just getting a release early this year and they might have plan Switch two versions of the other games maybe, along with the fact Shulks story arc only ended two years so they might want to do this soon (they might still still use Shulk in the future for later games but a big story mark ended with 3 in 2023, but what they will do is still a mystery) also makes sense to bring in first rooting for Shulk and betting him as well (Xenoblade scales pretty high or might match FF)
I need Lighting to have a fake out where Shulk gets stabbed and for Shulk to say "your blade... it did not cut deep enough" then for him to win off that so badly lol
From what I tend to see, people want a Final Fantasy matchup that isn’t 7... OR Lightning. But with that said Lightning definitely (to me) has the most interesting matchups, although 14 and 15 have some cool ones.

With that being said, how does Cyn match up to Destoroyah? Seems kinda off. Assuming that this is the Kaiju and not some other character.
Makima Alucard seems pretty fun to me, both are returners that have a lot of juice left in them.

Guts Clare and Junko Trap are both really good. Guts Clare probably should have been the thumbnail but I felt it was too obvious.
Cyn vs Destroyah is the only one here I can't say is a real matchup because like Guts vs V (Murder Drones) it is one I made. But most importantly it's the first matchup I ever made, it was the first episode of my vs show Firey Throwdown and holds a special place in my heart. But I was very out of the loop on how to make matchups, I didn't even know there was an original matchup flair when I made the post. So it's only here because it's special to me, despite having basically no connections because I just didn't feel up to it at the time. One day I'll return and revamp the matchup but outside of being a guilty pleasure the MU is kinda eh.
Though Guts vs V is probably the best thing I've done on reddit yet so I highly reccomend checking that out, as I actually feel like I did something good with that. And also because a Beserk vs Murder Drones matchup is ridiculous in concept but works suprisingly well I think.
I’ve come to expect everything out of Murder Drones, especially from their matchups. What would you like to see from Guts VS V if it ever got an episode?
There really isn't much I want for Guts' side more than I would for the analysis that Guts vs Dimitri gave him, that's perfect enough. But focus heavily on his trauma and healing from it and how he copes... Or lack there of in some cases.
V's side I really want it to focus on her growth, essentially starting off with the sadistic V we get in the pilot and start falling from there, mentioning her moments of weakness until we get into Home and explain how messed up this situation is and that V just following orders and hiding it by pretending to like murdering drones (Say that again?) to survive to please J and Cyn. And that now that it's all over, unlike Guts which (from my knowlage of Beserk) is always going to be in peril for the rest of his days, That just maybe. At the end of the tunnel now that the virus of Cyn has been purged there is a brighter future ahead for her.
And the fight would just be perfect, have it start with a pod landing. And then having V just get straight to it flying out of it.
You can handle the fight in one of two ways, you can have it be V constantly staying out of reach and Guts having to shoot her down or leap up to get to her... Or.
You can just have it be an epic cinematic tank vs speedster fight. Having V dart in and out constantly and Guts having to use his battle IQ to somehow get her in melee range, and with V's fighting style and horrible depth perception. She could get outmatched by the end of the fight into melee, claw on sword clashing would be lit, maybe have a bit where when the Beserker armour comes on. You can have V try to catch the Dragonslayer, throwing it aside to hit Guts directly, but with the added force of the armour have it shatter her claws and send her flying. The banter is good enough, have V look down towards Guts for being human, yada yada. And both ways the kill would be brutal as hell. V can stab through the armour with the nanite acid and cook guts from the inside whilst he's still alive, or you can have V break the Dragonslayer in one of their clashes, just for guts to grab the blade part, pin her to the ground and rip her core out with his bare hands before crushing it.
And then the winning cards would be intresting too. Maybe "Weaponry, Battle IQ, Speed, Physical Stats."
Have V be either a metalic grey or neon yellow and have Guts be a dark red. If you take V's high ends: Have V take, Physical stats, Speed. Tie on weaponry and lose in battle IQ. If you don't scale V to Uzi or Cyn, you can have Guts tie in physical stats and weaponry, take battle IQ and lose on speed. And then have V vs Berserker Armour like Joker vs GER and then have that take Physical stats and possibly tie on speed.
Give me at least like 30 minutes to most likely 4-4 hours minimum for my autism to recharge I dumped all my barely sentient capabilities into that comment rn

David and Uzi are rude, short tempered protagonists share similar goals (Revenge/Answers), they both possess technological weaponry and power (Cyberwear, Sick As Hell Railgun and the Absolute Solver) and even teamed up with what seemed to be the bad guys only to find out they're almost the same (The Edgerunners and The Disassembly Drones), But their motives are almost polar opposites

Oh there's lots of stuff I'd like to see, but if I had to choose just one from each:
The gravitational clash between Kat and Shiki eventually creates a black hole, which they would try to fix, leading to the death
Marinette manages to burn Randy's mask using a match summoned by the Miraculous Ladybug, only for it to remake itself and trigger Randy's Ninja Rage mode
Mei and Sasuke locking blades both by themselves and with their extra arms (Susano'o arm for Sasuke, Herrscher of Thunder arms for Mei)
Just an aerial dog fight with their planes
Jenny vs Robotboy is exempt mostly because I barely remember anything from Robotboy's show other than his Superactivated form and I haven't seen much of MLAATR. Also, Mei vs Sasuke is a stomp depending on how you interpret Honkai feats; imo, except for the Aeons and Emanator tier characters, I'm currently undecided regarding their higher scaling, so to me, Mei is at most 1 or 2 tiers weaker than Sasuke and equally fast, if not more so because she has a timestop, so in the end, it mostly comes to their hax

What does this look like fight potential wise? It sounds interesting I just can’t think of how the fight would go. Also does Jigsaw have anyway to beat Junko?
Kenjaku VS Death Devil seems very cool, unfortunately it means no Kenjaku VS Mister Sinister but I just really like Mister Sinister. This at least keeps the series rivalry between JJK and CSM going.
I do love comparing DS and FMAB just because there are so many similarities between the two despite one commonly considered the have one of the best stories in all of anime and the other being seen as all flash and no story.
That being said, most of their connections come from how they relate to their siblings and nothing. That doesn't mean its a bad match up. I actually prefer matchups where the characters have lots of similarities despite being two very different people with different abilities.
I said it to someone else here, but I massively prefer the 2 VS 2 fight between them. I feel like it’s less fair but it’s way more thematic and we haven’t ever really gotten a 2 V 2 DB. There’s Ratchet & Clank VS Jak & Daxter but that’s two guys and their sidekicks mostly.
Always been my favorite, best matchup for Luke overall(Paul has the better connection, but this one has the better fight potential), third best for Saber. The thematics and dialogue and be pretty good for the overall battle, especially if the battle takes place after the fate route and return of the jedi. They play off each other great power wise, countering a lot of each other skill sets, and can be amazing as a 3d battle.
Vergilius vs Arlecchino (Project-Moon vs Genshin Impact)
My love for this MU has grown recently, especially with the recent feats from limbus company making this closer. It has to be an absolute blood bath to really show off the best of this battles, and their connections also show off a lot of their softer sides.
Big fan of anything that’s a Fate matchup, for Saber I think Luke might be my favourite. I think it could look great in sprites or 3D. I can’t imagine even with Legends that Luke matches up well physically against Saber (maybe she isn’t even that strong and I’ve just heard a lot).
This other matchup I haven’t really heard of.

Saber is definitely physically stronger, but Luke can still match Saber in a sword fight thanks to the force and relative skill. If we’re sticking to what death battle has shown(including DB Cast for Saber), saber take the AP advantage if only going off of canon feats for Luke(they scaled saber to the earth’s core for her Excalibur blast). Luke takes haxes though(if I remember correctly and they excused legends force powers as being able to do in canon), things like shatterpoint could severely weaken Saber if it can target her spirit core directly, and that’s one of several things that could be used. I’d give it to Luke more times than not, Avalon and Magic Resistance could tip the scales to Saber’s favor depending on how powerful DB ranks it, but Luke’s plethora of options make it lean into his favor on paper.
As for what I like to see. I’d like this to be a fate route oriented Saber fighting Luke at the end of Return of the Jedi; I imagine it as Saber being a final test for Luke before he fades away (And to use a younger model for Luke, it starts with a shadowed older model before a flash of sunlight switches to his classic model). Luke plays more defensive, parrying Saber’s attacks while using the force to keep creating distance by throwing items and creating illusions; Saber would have to be more aggressive in turn, since she has less stamina-effective ranged options and needs to get close. Saber would have more surprise options, though Luke would adapt to these options with another force ability quick enough to have the fight continue going.
For the climax of the fight I would love to have them fighting on a body of water(Saber using her blessing and Luke using the force to stand), and both of them transforming to their full power form(while I’d prefer to have a glowing Luke fighting a 3rd ascension Saber, it would more realistically be a glowy eyed Luke and unsealed Excalibur). This is where we can have them using their most powerful abilities, especially Avalon being brought in. The death should be where the two have a final talk, with either saber fabbing away or Luke as a force ghost depending on the winner, either way Saber reassures Luke on his choices and the winner gets left alone with a good note.
And for the second matchup, it’s basically adopted father at the pinnacle of human strength with blood abilities. Vergilius is around casual building to Small Country level, and Arlecchino is island to country(depending on how relative she is to the archons being 4 of the fatui, with 3 being on par with the archons). Arlecchino seems to be the winner with this one.
For this one, I’m still thinking about it, but it needs a lot of blood for it to be good.
Damn I’m not really left for anything to say. I guess two questions.
What are your thoughts on other Star Wars VS Fate matchups? (Merlin VS Obi-Wan, Saber VS Anakin, and so on).
Also do you have any other Male VS Female matchups you like?
I’d say it really starts and ends with the KoR vs Star Wars. Merlin vs Obiwan is fine enough connections wise, and could be good in combat, but Merlin feels a lot less usable compared to Saber since he’s really stuck with one part Grand Order and Avalon. Anakin vs Saber is fine too, I don’t like it though since using Anakin feels a lot more of a what if trying to leave out Darth Vader; and this usually brings up Saber Alter, which is really focusing on one specific path of a character rather than the character as a whole. It can work, but it definitely needs a lot more elbow grease to make it feel appropriate.
As for other match-ups. Sinclair vs Noel(Limbus vs Tsukihime), Arcueid vs Alucard(Tsukihime vs Castlevania), Spike vs Remi(Cowboy Bebop vs Black Lagoon), Tohru vs Maou(Dragon maid vs Devil Part Timer), Usagi vs Sora(Sailor Moon vs Kingdom Hearts), Flowey vs Princess(undertale vs slay the princess), and Mordred/Ryuko vs Wanderer(Type-Moon/Kill la Kill vs Genshin Impact)
Guts VS Clare, of course a really good matchup. It’s a shame that if it happens we’re probably gonna have to wait a while because Guts’ last episode was what, 2 years ago?
Saber VS Ky seems really cool, I’m happy to see any Fate matchup and this one seems very fun.
Tiamat and Nicol also seems very fun even if I haven’t looked too far into it.

The main thing I want to see with the first two is a really solid swordfight. Besides Jack vs Afro, and that short segment in She-ra vs Wonder Woman, the show really lacks that.
With Tiamat vs Nicol Bolas, is that it's both a kaiju fight, a villain fight, and a fight between two beyond-powerful reality warpers capable of doing anything. D&D and Magic also have a big rivalry going on, and these two are almost the mascots of both series.
I definitely think Saber Ky would be more focused on the quick sword play where every movement matters. Guts Clare especially in its end phase should just turn into two behemoths, two feral demons of combat slicing each other until nothing is left. Throughout the fight showing Clare’s regeneration then (if she loses) have a cleave she can’t come back from (like perhaps down the middle the entire way) or if Clare wins, maybe they both get hit with a super devastating attack (maybe double decapitation?) where it’s clear that Clare could walk away while Guts can’t.
After someone told me about The Entity VS Valgavoth, I’ve really been interested in seeing Magic on Death Battle. D&D I also really want to see, Tarrasque VS Deviljho is my current favourite. I should definitely look into Tiamat VS Nicol closer.
Grovyle from Mystery Dungeon is male, the one that also comes from the future.
The last two are both Touhou matchups, a series that I really want on the show. Junko is very different from the other "embodiments of rage" types of characters. I can see the fight leaning on the tragedy of both characters, which is something I don't see often talked about with the other Atrocitus opponents. Also, stats vs hax debates are always fun.
The Yorigami sisters, Joon and Shion, are literally just Touhou's version of Wario and Waluigi. Being a villainous comedic duo, trying a bunch of get-rich-quick schemes and failing. Could do a bunch of slapstick with this one, considering one of the character's abilities is to give everyone around her, including herself, infinite bad luck.
Oh okay. Are there any other connections other than “future” for Groyvle Lucina?
Definitely HUGE agree with Touhou needing to be on the show and yeah l, I’ve never really been a fan of Gorr for Atrocitus, definitely not Red Hulk for Atrocitus either. This one is the best I’ve read for Atrocitus, it seems really fun.
Oh okay when it’s put that way the duo matchup seems pretty fun, kind of like a Tom VS Wile thing going on? Either way it’s cool since I don’t really think Waluigi really has enough to go off of his own.

This ones pretty cool for a lower tier fight, something we haven’t really gotten in independent Death Battle, also Yakuza and Juri tend to have very loyal fans.
Is there anything you would like to see from this fight?
Personally, I'd like for them to start the fight really leaning into their crazy personalities while in front of other people, play into the wackiness of both franchises (maybe a vehicle chase with Majima's truck and Juri's bike, and a moment where they ping pong a grenade between the two of them) but have it get to a point where a line is crossed; they realize this isn't going to end until one of them ends up dead, and that's when they drop the act and get serious. No more witty banter, no more maniacal laughter, just two seasoned killers hardened by the trauma of their past giving it their all, pushing each other to the absolute limit.
Other things that could be cool:
Imagery when they fight depicting a dog facing off against a large spider (Majima being the Mad Dog of Shimano, and Juri having spiders as a motif, and potentially inspired by a Japanese myth)
A shot where Juri's Feng Shui Engine is overlapped with Majima's eye patch
The fight starting with Juri beating up Majima's construction team
A segment in the fight where Juri loses Majima, and it homages the "Majima Everywhere" system from the Yakuza Kiwami games
If Death Battle ever does after-fight scenes, it would be cool to see C. Viper keeping tabs on Juri (since SF6 revealed they worked together in the past) and at the same time have Kiryu keep tabs on Majima, using his connections from "The Man Who Erased His Name"
If I had to guess I'd put my money on Juri, mostly because I'm sure Street Fighter scales higher compared to Yakuza
There's a few that I've been warming up to that I think would be pretty cool to see:
Archie! Knuckles vs. Wonder Woman (Sonic vs. DC Comics): With the recent Sonic/DC crossover and after Archie! Sonic vs. Wally West Flash, I think this would be a really cool way to bring back both of these characters to the show! I don't have any particular ideas for what I'd like to see except for one thing which I'm not sure could even technically happen due to how the forms are accessed: Enerjak Knuckles vs. Anti-Crisis Wonder Woman would be unbelievably peak!
Jinu and The Saja Boys vs. Adagio Dazzle and The Dazzlings (K-Pop Demon Hunters vs. My Little Pony): Two groups of supernatural monsters who take the form of humans in order to receive fame and adoration, but in reality use their dark magic to gain power. This could be a lot of fun for Death Battle, as it could be their first music-based episode (since Battle of the Bands is such a classic trope) but I don't know how anyone scales or who could win. Maybe you could have the fight start in their more human forms, before transforming into their more demonic forms in the second half of the fight. Alternatively, if DB wanted to keep it one on one, Jinu vs. Ember (Danny Phantom) could do the same kind of concept on a smaller scale
Green Lantern (John Stewart) vs. Spectrum (DC Comics vs. Marvel): An underrated Marvel vs. DC fight between two light-themed heroes would honestly be very fun to see! John has plenty of abilities and forms that would make him unique to analyze compared to Hal and Kyle, and Monica is a really fun character with a cool power set and frankly she deserves more love in my book!

in terms of animation style, i genuinely think it could work in any. my preferred would probably be hand-drawn (having this animated by moro would be genuinely peak) but i think it could be really well done in sprites or 3D too. both of these characters are known for their crazy speed, so i really want the animation to capture that feeling well
in terms of what i'd want to see in the fight animation itself, a nod to chihiro and sojo's 12 second duel would be really cool. a particular interaction i think would be really cool would be chihiro using kuro scatter, only for miyabi to cut every single individual fish in half with a flurry of slashes. the fight should start on a train, and i'd want it to segway into the two of them fighting in a hollow, warping around with spatial fissures and fighting through them. i think it'd also be cool to have a brief teamup moment where they just kill a bunch of ethereals swarming them. and whoever ends up winning should take the loser's sword, so if chihiro wins, he should take tailless, and if miyabi wins, she should take enten
there're a lot of really cool and awesome interactions you could have in the fight but those are just some i'd wanna see personally. and yeah, i definitely recommend you check out kagurabachi, it's a really great read
From what I’ve seen, I think super speedy fight work the best in sprites, but naturally I feel like almost every fight would look the best hand drawn, especially seeing the hand drawn animations coming out of this season and last season. Also Jack VS Afro was hand drawn and that was the best pure sword fight that we have gotten.

in terms of other male vs. female MUs, i have a couple i also like off the top of my head. frieren vs. hohenheim, sakamoto vs. rita, light vs. kaguya, momo and okarun vs. cloak and dagger (kinda cheating cause it's a 2v2 but i think it still counts), flowey vs. princess, and uta vs. tenna are all really great MUs
in terms of ZZZ MUs, there are a couple others that i like. lycaon vs. klaus, jane vs. lucy, caesar vs. junker queen, lucy vs. weiss, trigger vs. whisper and evelyn vs. loid are all pretty cool. on the other end, i haven't seen too many kagurabachi MUs that have caught my attention, but i think sojo vs. zabuza and samura vs. billy are some cool ideas i've seen tossed around a bit
Always fun to see a Frieren matchup, I feel like when season 2 starts airing (start of next year?) might be a good time to bring her in. The rest of these seem pretty fun. I personally would say that team on is cheating a little bit because the teams are mixed gender but it’s still fun.
I’ve seen Takamura (Sakamoto Days) for a few Kagurabachi matchups that have seemed interesting, honestly that’s just a very solid series combo. Have a look into some of those.

-Both believe themselves that they the “Number One” person (Papyrus call himself the “Greatest” in ever time his declared his name with it/Cirno claim she is the “The Strongest” on occasions) …which they aren’t but despite being weak compared to a good majority of the cast in they series, they still give their all even if they fail trying in a funniest way and has become fan favorite in the series for doing so
-Both somewhat has something related to ice theme (Papyrus live in a snow place that call Snowdin/Cirno herself is… well a ice fairy)
-Both has strangely appeared as stage 2 boss of their own game coincidences enough
-Both always has someone they know of, that accompanied them whatever they go (Papyrus brother Sans/Cirno friend Daiyousei)
-While both seem appear as incompetent idiot, can be somewhat naive and kind look weak compared to majority of the cast, despite that they can be competent at time, are more intelligent then what they appear and are far from real weak (while Papyrus can be see as occasionally oblivious, nonobservant and somewhat dense, he can be cunning at time and somewhat a master manipulator as seen when he uses reverse psychology to trick his close-friend Undyne into befriending the protagonist Frisk, he also very aware he brother has some secret stuff that he won’t tell, while some of the puzzle that his created to capture Frisk in through out game may look like a joke and kind useless, some other like X/O and Gauntlet of Deadly Terror has some complex mechanism suggest he has some mechanical knowledge, while he is thought of to be somewhat naive. His is not dumb, and his know severity of some situation like knowing Undyne wants to kill the protagonist in some part of the game and in Genocide Route, while Papyrus does try spare Frisk and gives them a chance to be better person, if the protagonist were decide to spares Papyrus and aborts the Genocide route, then Papyrus will admit that he was afraid of they, were fears of his own failure to stop them monster slaughter and didn't expect them to show actually mercy. And while Papyrus does against killing, his does enjoy a good brawl, even call himself a "brutal" kind of guy, mentions fighting is a great way to make friend and he is also really strong and pretty freaking tough than his actually look even his friend Undyne admit it, the only reason why he hasn’t kill or accidentally kill Frisk in his boss fight in game is because due to his level of kindness and restraint/while Cirno is usually considered to be "idiotic" by other, appears to have a superiority complex and always pick fight with someone that is stronger then her to prove herself that she “the strongest” and usually lose to that said person. Despite this, she is intelligent and self-award enough to know when she is endangered, such as her hesitation battle against Yuuka, which suggest Cirno know that there some battle that she can't just win. She can also able to read, unlike most fairy and some weak youkai of her peers, such as Mystia Lorelei. She can also able to count such as she shows knowledge of rounding and fractions, which indicate Cirno can at least do some basic math mathematician. And while Cirno is not really "the strongest" like she claim, she is the second strongest fairy tho, only behind Clownpiece an hell fairy which is say alot about her when compare to other fairy, whose are consider the weakest youkai species
Peak. Would absolutely love for both franchises to get on Death Battle.

Seems fun, I love Archer and Umineko seems like a cool franchise, this match in particular just seems a bit off to me, maybe I just want something else for an Archer matchup.
I like this one, this one seems fun, idk about best for both but it has to be up there, Wario doesn’t really need to come back on his own and Waluigi doesn’t have anything worth doing on his own, also Touhou really needs to be featured at some point soon.
I’ve always seen this one as the best for both, it’s just got such a good vibe to it as a match.

Absolute peak. I really should have had this as the thumbnail (there was a pretty popular post that went out about an hour before this one so I didn’t want to “copy” them or whatever). This is probably THE M VS F matchup that needs to happen, even if Guts was on the show fairly recently.
This one seems pretty good thematically. I prefer Baran for Omni-Man but that doesn’t fit this criteria. Rose is still a good matchup I’m just not too aware of her.
Dabi VS Winter has been on here a few times. It seems interesting. I wonder if we’re going to get any more RWBY episodes besides Ruby Maka.

Sonic VS Megaman? Always a good combo and I’d love to see these two specifically. Banger.
Timmy Russo sounds pretty cool, it’s always going to be outshined by Timmy VS Dexter though.
Don’t really know anything about this matchup at all, I wonder if people would care about a second Korra episode, I imagine we would have to have a second Aang episode first.
Flowey VS Monika seems fun, this matchup seems to be pretty overshadowed by The Princess as an opponent for both of them.
Is there anything you would like to see from these if they became episodes?
For Bass VS Surge, I would really like to see the brutalness of their fighting styles and personalities. They cause carnage, but it isn't at all unfocused, I feel. It's difficult to describe, but, I feel a kick from Bass, for example, is going to be a lot meaner and targeted than a kick from Rock. Bass will want you to be in pain, I feel, rather than kicking you just to progress the fight, so to speak. Surge can be the same way, even more so.
I think it would be fun to see how Surge's electricity is used, and seeing that visually clash and mesh with Bass's innate energy from his own attacks. Speaking of energy, Surge using the Dynamo Cage to absorb energy from Bass's attacks and body, and then adapting the Special Weapons to her own fighting style could be really cool. I would like to see Bass and Treble work together to disarm the Dynamo Cage, somehow.
I would also like to see Surge's regeneration worked into the choreography, if possible.

For Timmy VS Alex, both franchises already have multiple types of magic in their power systems, with fairies in WoWP being not too far from the fairies in TFOP. I think it would be fun to see the differences in the "I can do anything!" power systems of both franchises, during the fight. Plus, with Alex being a Wizard, a magical being, Cosmo and Wanda wouldn't need to disguise themselves, during the animation, technically.
I think it would be a lot of fun to see how both sides use their magic. C&W granting Timmy's wishes, and Alex using her scheming mind could be really fun, for a battle of powers and strategy.
Speaking of, I'll briefly mention Verdict stuff, for this. I feel both combatants do happen to land in pretty near stat ranges, but I feel it'd absolutely be in-character for both to use their magic to alter a stat gap, if they noticed one. So, verdict-wise, it really does focus in more on the properties of Fairy Magic VS Wizard Magic, and the personalities of both characters, and I really like that.

One aspect I like about Korra VS Delsin, is the different feel of their elements. Korra's are natural in basis, but she's since learned to Bend metal, as well. Delsin's are all artificial in basis, and are controlling aspects of human creation. All, that is, except for smoke - his first power.
I would really love to see the visuals of their powers, and the different applications and aquirances of both. I'd also really like to see their different approaches to mobility.
The matchup also just heavily vibes well, for me.

For Flowey VS Monika, I would want their animation to be focused more so on the characters, and not as much the direct combat, so to speak. Both they and their worlds mean a lot to me, so, I would really want the person of each character to be what's focused on. I've even slightly mapped out some parts of the fight in my head, by now.

I thought this was Indigo (Brainiac 8) when I saw the name. Not really sure the connections but I like the contrast of the Compassion Lantern Corps leader Vs the epitome of lacking compassion (which makes him eligible to be apart of the Indigo Tribe). Big fan of the idea of Shockwave getting on the show.
Is there anything you would like to see from either of these as episodes?
Cass vs Laura could be neat. Although I weirdly like Cass vs Cindy Moon/Silk. Which while yes is another Batman vs Spider-Man style fight, this is one that is closer and Cass is the more skilled foe and could likely keep up with or evade spider sense

Using IDW shockwave as the connections, it is actually a really cool clash where their stories are very similar but going in opposite directions. With Indigo-1 being a ruthless serial killer who is forced to feel compassion and ends up a purple themed protector of the universe, vs shockwave who was a compassionate and heroic senator who was falsely accused and lobotomized into a purple colored heartless murderer who threatened the universe. Plus if you give him his full arsenal and the different ores he has, vs Indigo-1 being able to copy other lantern powers etc.
Jensen vs Mokoto I want either a stealth fight moment where both turn invisible trying to hunt eachother or a moment where they try to hack each other, but mostly just using the environment similar to snake vs Sam instead of fighting in an open space.
I think it would be cool to get Damian having a sword clash against Laura, the two using their training going back and forth as Damian tries to get through her healing factor (which is both easier and harder to do because only her claws have adamantium to stop a blade but that means her healing is more potent without the "led poisoning" across her skeleton).
For Tohru vs Maou, just good humor and powerful hits really, Going over both characters arsenal and stories. I just wonder if they will have the fight in the human world or take it to one of their fantasy worlds where Maou has unlimited access to his mana.
Pretty much went over what I want from Indigo-1 vs Shockwave. Although the death, I feel like could be the ring leaving Indigo-1 for shockwave and either bonds with him or he captures it but he still kills Indigo-1 due to the ring leaving, or if she wins then likely standard cosmic clash stuff
There are probably others I can't remember right now cause my brain can't stop coming up with ideas.
I haven’t really thought about Cass VS Cindy. I’d really like to see that as a DBX maybe. Two characters I like I just think DB is now focusing on super popular matchups. Also while I’m talking about Cass, Snake Eyes is a really fun opponent and fits this category, slightly surprised no one has brought this up yet.

Fair enough, I guess it’s M&F vs F&F. Still, it’s my 2nd most wanted MU, I love it so much. If it were to happen it needs to lean into the more emotional aspects of the characters, and honestly I think it could have a very emotional ending.
For Benson vs Nicole it needs to start with Mordecai & Rigby and Gumball & Darwin ruining the park with a prank gone wrong or something. Benson yells at Gumball & Darwin, Nicole chastises Mordecai & Rigby, and then both get offended that someone would talk to their kids/employees like that.
Yeah I don’t think Midoriya needs to return but I still love this MU. Kinda bummed they chose Miles over her but oh well it was still good. If they ever do make this they have to get in an argument about All Might vs Captain Marvel halfway through the fight.
Both of the Uchiha Raiden matchups look pretty cool.
Majima Juri seems like a fun lower level fight.
The next matchup I’m gonna have to look into again but I’m pretty sure I liked it when I first read it.
Goku VS Usagi would be VERY funny if Usagi won. Sadly I prefer Seiya as an opponent for both of them, this one still seems cool.
Not really sure on the connections for this one, I bet it’s already a better matchup for Baiken then Future Gohan.

Megumi Fushigoro vs. Shiroha Fujino (JJK vs. Nue's Exorcist)
Shonen Jump exorcist summoners who are freed from clans who wish to use them as tools due to their summoning powers. They also have trump card summons they don't have full control of and are typically the serious members of the main cast.
If we include non-trump card summons and powers, it leans a lot more towards Megumi.
If we include trump card summons, things get tricky.
Shiroha's summon, Kyokotsu, can hard counter Megumi's summons and can help deal with his domain expansion.
Mahoraga is the problem, though. Kyokotsu can theoretically take control over Maho, but he'll need to defeat Megumi quickly because eventually, Maho will adapt and I don't know if Kyokotsu can one shot especially with his 10 sec time limit currently.
Also, the 10 sec timer isn't a huge deal since Kyokotsu basically gives Shiroha a weaker version of his powers afterward. Which doesn't affect anything I said other than dealing with Mahoraga, which would basically be impossible for her currently.
Sounds pretty cool. I might have to look into Shiroha. I’m pretty sure the franchise is in my “to read” list anyway. Are there any other Male VS Female matchups you would like to see?

Oh Alphonse vs Nezuko and Jagi vs Mileena looks fun.

Normally I’m not a big fan of Kingdom Hearts matchups, but Magik Riku has always been one I enjoy. Maybe it’s just because it has Magik.
Agent Venom and Seras Victoria seems pretty interesting, cripples that stumbled (poor choice of words) into an edgy power source.
I don’t really know much about the next two other than where they’re from.

Tanya von Degurechaff Vs Will Treaty (Saga of Tanya the Evil Vs Rangers Apprentice)
A matchup i made purely cause I didn't feel like Tanya's matchup spread wasn't good. And while Will is anything but mainstream this matchup i feel really plays into character intelligence with multiple contrast that highlight eachother. With comparisons like them fighting for the nation they grew up in but having completely different views on it. One would die for their home and the other would betray their home for their own safety.
It also has both a magic vs non magic and Technological advanced vs 'primitive' gear but even with the advantage of tech and magic i feel this matchup is extremely close due to Wills intelligence being able to capitalize on Tanya's personality.
Though of course I haven't probably scaled them, especially Will, but even so this is my dream matchup. It'll never happen but thats fine with me.
Kinda funny given Tanya's foes are almost entirely male outside of Mary Sue.
To be precise what I mean by Will taking advantage of Tanya's personality is that Tanya would certainly not go all out. She could nuke the battlefield and be over but it would both be a waste of energy and require her to pray. So the idea being Will has a surprising good shot of winning against a in character Tanya.
I apologise for not seeing this. This matchup is really cool and I would love to see either of these two. I’d especially love to see Fate on Death Battle.
It’s kind of a shame that Death Battle only seems to be focusing on super popular and highly requested matchups, maybe after the Kickstarter money runs out from the fundraiser DB will end. This is one of those matchups I would love, but we probably just don’t really have enough time left.
