Question/Discussion What are your favourite Male VS Female matchups?

I also really like Hades (Saint Seiya) VS Sailor Galaxia (Sailor Moon) but I couldn’t find a thumbnail for it and I also can’t use my computer to make one.

Nagisa Shiota VS Tokaku Azuma

(Assassination Classroom VS Riddle Story of Devil)

  • Both are blue haired student assassins with androgynous appearances who, at the beginning of their series, have been sent to a special class (Class E & Class Black) within a seemingly normal school which actually withholds a dark secret within (Kunugigaoka's morals and class system and Myojo Academy's Class Black and hidden cemetery).
  • There, they, as well as the rest of their class, are tasked with killing a specific individual with whom they grow to care deeply for over the course of the series (Koro-Sensei & Haru), to the point where despite their initial objective, they end up protecting their target from other assassins.
  • Both have a red haired best friend (Karma & Haru) whose personalities contrast greatly with their own, and with whom they end up coming into conflict with, however after which they are able to mend their relationship, with their bond stronger than ever.
  • Both have huge mental blocks in regards to killing, unable to deal with the weight it comes with, something that over the course of the series they learn to overcome.
  • Both have dark relationships with their families, specifically with their mother, whom they feel shackled to in some way, unable to break free from their grip to live the life they truly want to.
  • Ultimately, they are the ones who end up dealing the killing blow to their target with a stab to the chest (though while Haru ended up surviving, Koro-Sensei did not), the series concluding with their futures looking truly bright for the first time, thanks in large part due to the impact their targets left on them in the short time they were together.
  • Both are exactly 5.25 ft tall.
