• Both are monster like antagonists that are made up of a certain substance (Clay face being made up of Clay and Bendy being made of Ink)
• Both were originally supposed to be successful within the entertainment business. However, this dream would not come true and would instead lead them into becoming disfigured/messed up and rejected by others (Basil Karlo was gonna be a big movie star until he got into an accident & Bendy was gonna be a living cartoon character but would instead come out as an uncanny imitation).
• Both would later become even more monstrous and disfigured which barely resembles what they once were/what they were supposed to be. They would also embrace this new monster form with a name referencing the substances they are now (Basil Karlo fully turning into The Clayface & “Bendy” fully turning into The Ink Demon)
• Despite embracing their new horrific forms, deep down they would hate that they can’t be what they were once supposed to be
Both could shapeshift, and Bendy could try to mentally mess with Basil, who falls for it at the start before eventually calling out Bendy and his insecurities due to his actor skills letting him see through Bendy’s facade. Basil would try to reason with him, but Bendy just gets infuriated at his insecurities being called out and refuses.
No idea how the debate would go. Stats don’t matter due to their physiology, so it mostly comes down to which physiology is better/which one would make it easier for the winner to land the killing blow first. Which… no idea. I’ll probably say Bendy because soul hax, but I genuinely don’t know.
Nice to see Clayface starting to get a decent spread between this, Twice, and Arakune
Though I’d say this does the best job at capturing the source and motivation of Basil’s tragedy, not to mention its pretty fun and doesn’t stay too close to Clayface’s main abilities (like Sandman) but doesn’t stray to far away to where you have to do mental gymnastics to appreciate the animation (like Mysterio)

I like any clayface MU that touches on his inherent tragedy so this is baller, plus its another W for my boy Basil which rocks
