I think that argument is weird because powerscaling takes characters at their full potential unless stated otherwise, and there are dozens of cosmic Mario feats, enough to be consistent.
Not just that, but it doesnât even scale to Dream Depot either, and Bowser literally had an undodgeable move in that fight bruv.
The bros. donât scale to the Dream Stone as itâs established as being beyond everyone else, and the Zeekeeper actively was needed to shatter a mere barrier for Neo-Bowserâs Castle, as the bros. couldnât. The only way they could beat a Bowser with that full power without being crushed or unable to harm him is via plot armour, straight up.
I mean, what else do you think it could be in this case? It breaks literally everything established about the Dream Stone, unless it barely has greater AP than Bowser and the bros.
Itâs them scaling to it. âPlot armorâ is an out of universe reasoning that has zero precedent in-verse for them being able to do this. You canât it that to debunk that blatantly happens.
Then theyâd scale above Bowser, which they literally donât, itâs established that Bowser is MUCH stronger and they need skill and speed to beat him. BiSâ ending cutscene even shows them heavily injured in their fight against Bowser, whom they barely beat, and thatâs at least consistent with the M&L games, Dream Team follows BiS directly.
Like, Iâd need a good explanation on how this makes sense when it breaks the narrative of the game that the bros. would suddenly scale above the same artefact that was beyond everyone in the whole game.
