Connections:

  • Both are antagonists from superhero franchises (DC and Ultraman)
  • Both were created by advanced groups (the Eradicator was created by the Kryptonians while Ultroid Zero was manufactured by the human organization GAFJ)
  • They were originally created to protect their worlds (the Eradicator was designed to preserve Kryptonian purity while Ultroid Zero was built to defend people from kaiju)
  • They became active after tragic events (after Superman’s death, the Eradicator attempted to take over his body and preserve Krypton’s heritage while after GAFJ disbanded STORAGE, Ultroid Zero was created)
  • Their appearances resemble alien races (the Eradicator reflects Kryptonian traits while Ultroid Zero resembles the Ultras)
  • Their nemeses are alien heroes from the same races they resemble (Superman, a Kryptonian and Ultraman Z, an Ultra)

How would you start the fight, and what is the potential for animation, dialogue/interaction, debate and why?

It would start with Ultroid Zero, piloted by Yoko (possessed by Celebro) going on a rampage and absorbing kaiju from around the world. When it lands in the Arctic near the Fortress of Solitude, the Eradicator activates to protect Krypton’s heritage stored within the Fortress and rushes to confront Ultroid Zero.

Animation:
The animation would focus on Eradicator fighting against Ultroid Zero’s massive size and heavy firearms with highlights like a beam struggle between Eradicator’s heat vision and Ultroid Zero’s D4 Ray.

Interaction:
Their interaction would be Celebro (through Yoko) taunting the Eradicator, mocking how Krypton was destroyed and disrespecting its civilization before declaring that he will also wipe out Earth along with Krypton’s last remaining heritage inside the Fortress.

Debate:
If Eradicator scales to Superman, Ultroid Zero kinda screwed but Ultroid Zero still has a chance with his D4 Ray, capable of causing dimensional collapse and can become even stronger by transforming into Destrudos.
