cool tier list, I mostly agree with everything also Melinoë is the protagonist of the sequel so she has as much material to use as Zagreus

To be honest I have not been keeping up with Hades too at all, that's fun to learn though!

Personally, Magik vs Riku is my dream scenario, but I’d settle for just seeing her on Death Battle in general

Guilty Pleasure: 1. Hellboy (Dark Horse Comics) - it might be that the connections I was given were bad but this really only has 1 contrast in terms of thematics, love the animation potential though. 2. Astra (Black Clover) - animation potential alone carries this as everything else about it is kinda bad. Would be a good DBX pick. 3. Vergil (Devil May Cry) - good Hero vs. Villian option but doesn't really make for a good death battle.
Pass: 1. Gravelyn (Adventure Quest) - connections are vague at best and most are bad, it's mostly just similar powersets. Also who the fuck is this? 2. Kari (Digimon) - connections are stretches at best and Magick doesn't really work against a Summoner imo 3. Raven (Detective Comics) - connections are vague, its a stomp and Raven already had her best marvel opponent on the show. 4. Linda Danvers (Detective Comics) - I fail to see how these characters are similar at all and the fight dynamic doesn't work at all due to how differently they fight.
Bleh: 1. Maka Albarn (Soul Eater) - mostly just vaguely similar powers. This fight would just end up being Magik ft Maka as maka has no counterplay to most of Magik's stuff 2. Tier Harribel (Bleach) - again mainly just similar powersets with vague connections. I also know nothing about Bleach. 3. Nero (Devil May Cry) - connections are stretched ti make this work imo and I really don't vibe with the fight potential. Nero doesn't really have anything that can bounce off of 90% of Magiks arsenal from what I've seen. 4. Shirou Emiya (Fate) - vague connections with similar powers ect ect, also I know almost nothing about fate.
Okay 1. Reza Bramasakti (Satira Garuda) - I like the connections, but not really sold on the animation potential. 2. Charmcaster (Ben 10) - connections are good but I feel their would be too big a tonal clash. I could be wrong about that though since I know nothing about Ben 10. 3. Melinoë (Hades) - I like the connections but I'm not sure if any Hades character outside of Zag or the bosses really has enough to fight. 4. Fate Testarossa (Lyrical Nanoha) - good connections but I have no idea who this is.
Alts: 1. Pheonix Ikki (Saint Seiya) - I really like the thematics and both have a lot of different powers that could interact with each other. 2. Arata Kasuga (Trinity Seven) - connections and overall fight dynamic seems fun, though I again don't know who this bitch is. 3. Makoto Najima (Persona) - really good connections and a fun fight dynamic. Not much more to say 4. Clive Rosfeild (Final Fantasy) - this one has the best fight potential of this lot and the connections are pretty good, though the banter between the two sounds pretty boring 5. Karlach (Balder's Gate) - this one has the best connections and the animation potential does sound fun, but it's possible there would be a scale issue? Wouldn't know since I haven't played Baldurs Gate. 6. Riku (Kingdom Hearts) - good connections. Good banter. Good potential. Not much more to say. Am broken record.
The One: 1. Wonder Woman (Absolute DC) - while there aren't as many specific connections as before the Core theme for this matchup is the strongest out of any one here and there's a lot of fun corography with their swords and Power interactions eith their magic that you could use to make this fight interesting.
