You see bringing him back a fifth time would be thematic as it would represent DC's oversaturation of Batman content.

On a serious note, I'm pretty sure no one wants to see Batman back for awhile (especially against Moon Knight) unless it's an alternate version.

No, it's cause he only won one fight in Death Battle, and it was against Captain America. Batman has literally been matched up with Marvel Heroes his WHOLE time on Death Battle, and has lost 3 fights against them. Spider-Man being the first, Black Panther 2nd, and Iron Man being 3rd.

Imma be real, the only episodes of his I remember are Spiderman and Ironman, I constantly forget the other 2. You could wipe both episodes from existence and I wouldn't notice anything. I'm fine if he comes back because I want to see him actually use his arsenal instead of the same things with slight variations for 3 of his episodes and "punch hard" for his 4th.

Real talk I think it speaks volumes on how versatile of a character Batman is if he keeps getting requested. However I wished that people would pair him up with somebody other than a Marvel character. There’s a lot of interesting match ups he can have like Solid Snake, of the TMNT, Samurai Jack, James Bond etc

I do think that a couple more Batfam members or rogues should get on first but you can’t deny it sucks that one of the most popular characters in fiction hasn’t gotten a good modern episode where he actually fights like himself.

Also notice how it says “no popular returning MU’s” instead of “no good returning MU’s”

Batman is one of my favourite superheroes, so I’d love for him to return, but none of his returning options are that good imo, except for a rematch against Spidey, but even then I’d much prefer Adam West vs Supaidaman.

Yeah, this is a lie. I won't discuss Popular Requests because it depends more on what you interpret as Popular. His rematch against Spidey, although controversial, is popular. And Solid Snake is a fairly accepted opponent by the community.

The zero reasons to return thing bothers me a little. Dude, most of his episodes and the MUs used were crap. I can only remember one good episode with him, and it also didn't represent his street style in a great way and focused more on his more powerful items and armor.
