Do you have any evidence to support the idea you’re “horrible”? You make art, that in and of itself is wonderful! You have original ideas, you just need to remember the moments you did something because YOU wanted to and keep that in mind when you feel like you aren’t good enough!

It’s more important to be interested than interesting

Interested people also become interesting because they choose passion over ego

Keep trying new things, expand your hobbies and interests. The more you can find your inner passions, the more your authentic self will shine through. Once that magic starts happening, and your confidence starts showing, people will naturally be attracted to you. Patience and work, my friend 👌 you got this

Comparing ourselves to others is the thief of joy. It will always bring you down. Focus on yourself, and compare your current work with your old work, see how you’ve improved, what you like and don’t like, and keep working on it. That’s how you gain mastery and learn about yourself! Your friend is on their own journey, you have yours! The fact you’re making art is art itself and wonderful.

So first of all, I would say that if you are doing something to be interesting, that is the wrong way to go. You should just try and find something that you enjoy. And if you are doing art, well, that's good to. Art doesn't have to be as good as your friends', and I know how easy it can be to compare yourself, but comparison is the thief of joy for a reason.
You should just try not to focus on their work too much. Don't look at it too much, or when you do, try not to think about how much better it is than yours. You can look at what they've done and learn from their art to see what you can do to make yours better. The only person you should compare yourself to is yourself from yesterday. Whether you did better or not, just keep on drawing. Do it for the experience. Do it for the fun and joy.
I'm sure there was a time when you enjoyed drawing more. So just think about those moments and strive to do better.

However, if you actually want to look cool for doing something, you can try studying some philosophy or maybe you could learn how to use a Rubik's cube. Reading is interesting and easy. Chess, musical instruments, Sports are there too. All these things can make you look interesting.

Honestly for me interesting people can talk about stuff they like. Thats why I’m all for simply working on educating oneself: reading both nonfiction and fiction books, listening to podcasts whilst you do your daily chores, watching classic movies and listening to a wide range of music. Engaging with lots of art forms, keeping up to date with current affairs and having a slightly above average level of general knowledge can all go a long way!

BE interesting. Learn about cool shit. Do cool shit. Get really good at cool shit.
Takes lots of time and commitment. Being interesting shouldn’t be the goal, just a side effect from living a better life by trying your best. Sounds cliche but it is true.

Some people might say you shouldn't compare yourself to others, which is true. Ask yourself why you feel the need to compare yourself to others. That is the key

You’re not boring, you’re just comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel. The fact that you draw at all makes you interesting already—most people never even try. Keep leaning into the things that light you up, not just what looks impressive next to your best friend. People vibe with authenticity way more than polished talent.

you have to find a hobby that you are genuinely interested in! you can't just copy someone else's interest and think itll make you cool. caring about something you actually like makes you cool and intresting.

You can't fake being interesting. You need to do things you find interesting.
That means trying something new.
