Question A little confused on what resets this Tuesday

So this Tuesday is not a new season but it kinda is, i don’t stay up to date on twids so please correct me if I’m wrong:

Do drip bounties (ada-1 armor synthesis bounties) reset?

Weekly seasonal challenge will be refreshed

Season pass goes away

PVP comp rank does not refresh but we do get the ascendant emblem?

Am I missing anything else?

Current season power is being raised to 550. Season pass rewards are resetting. “New” location, plaugelands, with new season event.

We don’t know if it’s a patrol or the activity is simply taking place there

They show it as a portal activity in the marketing videos. It will be a portal activity

The way the Portal is and the move away from the director id be surprised if it’s Patrol. Probably be a multi-layered activity like The Nether

New armour, new weapons, Epic Raid

Nobody is losing anything on this update. It’s Renegades when we have a full roll back

Ah, this reminds me to grab the season pass armor on my lower powered characters just to have infusion fodder if I want to change it up this week.

You are able to collect old rewards from bungie.net

And you can get the Firefox extension to pull from older rewards tracks: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/d2-season-pass-wayback-machine/

Edit: I think Bungie has mentioned adding a way to grind, unlock and access older passes within the game “at some point in the future”, but this helps for now.

Yes, old season/reward passes up to Season 26 will be available tomorrow and Season 27 (current) should be available at or by Renegades.

They said that they make the old season pass ornaments rewards and so on available in the exotic archive in the tower, like a seasonal archive

My understanding is you just have to hit 450, I think at 500 and 550 you just have an easier time getting them without requiring an A rank.

I think someone said somewhere, maybe in a twid that you’d need to be 500 to drop t5s inconsistently and 550 to « guarantee » (as in current 450 guarantee) the drops

From the TWID:

-From 450 Power onwards (Platinum or Diamond reward packages), earn a score of 1,250,000 or more to guarantee T5 drops from your activity completion rewards.

-To confirm that you will be able to earn T5 rewards, before launching your activity, add modifiers and increase your reward score forecast until it shows a picture of a T5 engram and a score of 1,250,000+.

-As you go up in Power, you’ll be able to earn T5s with progressively lower grades. Ex: at 500 Power, you’ll only require a B+ for T5s.

Just the season pass really, but you technically have access to get the earned rewards via previous season pass extensions; personally I’m saving some stuff like armor and weapons that I never needed.

Can you tell me more about this please. This is the first time I failed to complete my reward pass. (I stopped playing as much as I usually do) I am on 75. Will I be able to unlock the remaining rewards and claim them after Tuesday?

You will not be able to unlock anything more after tomorrow’s update; you can only retrieve earned items that you haven’t already retrieved.

For example, if you forgot to retrieve an ascendant shard from the pass, you can use the season pass extension to retrieve that reward. There are a couple extension options and they have varying degrees of usefulness but I’ve found that Destiny 2 Season Pass Wayback Machine is the best.

It only mentions the one in December and has a countdown. This can be seen in game.

Yeah updated as in a new one in December but they always have added rows in between. Usually 2 rows but with only one refresh before renegades im hoping for 2 tomorrow. Gimme gimme gimme

Just checked in game and it says "Next Major Update Artifact Expands in 84 days"

I don't think there will be any changes to it tomorrow nor do I think we'll be getting a new on in Renegades. I only think we'll get a row or 2 when Renegades launches.

Least delusional DTG commenter. Content is recycled but also doesn’t recycle what you want it to have. The power grind seems to be getting much easier. Eververse is full of cosmetic items that people wish you could grind for, but it’s also filled with garbage. Lastly, nobody is stopping you from raiding dude.

Yes - they reset next week TOMORROW so you won't be able to use them on the new pass.

Only things that'll refreshed Tuesday are: Seasonal Challenges Rewards Pass

Everything else will still be around, like Seasonal Power, EoF Loot Pool, Ada bounties left since EoF began, Crucible ranks, seal progression on ritual activities, etc.

I think they meant any Ada bounties left until you’re capped will still be there (I.e., if you’ve done 20 on a character this season you won’t get more for Ash and Iron). I’m not sure I’ve seen any formal announcement from Bungie on that point tho (or really most of the points requested by OP, but Bungie will bury info in long posts, so…).

No one’s problem but my own, but I assumed the rewards pass was going to stack like it did with prior seasons.

I was 2 levels away from the Fireside Within shader before leaving on vacation. Probably would have grinded it out had I realized. Oh well, guess we’ll see how it goes with the access to old reward tracks they are adding.

The rewards pass did have a timer counting down to tomorrow and they’ve put out on their socials a few times that it was expiring. I believe there was even an in-game notice.

Fair enough. I saw the countdown on the season, which is still months away. I’ll accept it’s on me that I didn’t notice or look for the countdown on the rewards pass itself. I didn’t see the in-game notice, but that certainly doesn’t mean there wasn’t one.

Not the end of the world by any means, just a minor personal annoyance.

In the future, 4 rewards passes. They change when an expansion drops or when a major update launches.

I'm trying to find out which Eververse items are leaving tomorrow. Theres a tab in the Eververse store right now that says "some" items are leaving to make room for more stuff, but they dont specify what those are. So are we just supposed to buy out the entire storefront in order to avoid missing out on the items we want this season? I cant find any info on this anywhere! I even created a post on bungie help for Eververse in the forums, & not surprisingly I got no reply. Ridiculous.

No, the “season” doesn’t technically end until Renegades. So the Conquests are remaining, but with the option to replay.

We’re also not changing the artifact. And I so don’t even think we’re getting a new row like we did during the episodes, but I’ll happily be proved wrong if I am.

On the Conquest screen it says new conquests with a timer to the next season, tomorrow
