Question Tassellation at the start of the game

Hi guys i recently bought the destiny legacy collection and just started my Titan, from show han i can claim this exotic weapon with a quest, should i take it now? or should i just wait for a while?
Same for Maeve's key and The heart's depths

What reason is there to not claim it?

It's a DLC exotic.

Just tought if i picked it later it would have had an higher item level xD.
Sorry if I made a useless post it was more as clarification

If you are just starting, power level does not matter. And if you need high power level, you can infuse something into it.

You'll get more from being able to use the exotic.

It’s a niche exotic, not really the most useable. No reason not to pick it up, but if you’re starting out on Titan I’d recommend you try and get riskrunner or sunshot as your first exotic and use that until you get more comfortable with the game
