Media We had the AMAZING pleasure of talking with Brian Villalobos, the voice of Lodi! Thought you all might enjoy!

He was an absolute joy to talk to and was just an all around class act. Could not have higher praise for him and his work. You can check out the episode on YouTube or anywhere you get your podcasts.

I'm so sad that he's attached to the franchise during such a low point. His character is great and seeing him learning about (and how to play) Destiny because of it has been fun.

For real. I feel bad for not only him, but everyone at Bungie involved with the narrative- because they cooked hard but will forever be associated with the rest of the trainwreck.

It's always been like that unfortunately and it's exactly why I've never recommended D2 to any of my friends: the game has incredible lore, art and sound design but it's all anchored down into an abyss by the shittiest monetization imaginable.

There's plenty to criticize, but monetization? It's $80 for a full year now, and there's no MTX besides cosmetics. It is literally cheaper than almost every MMO out there.

I get it can be confusing knowing what to buy to get what you want (although they do bundles), but that's one Google search and ten minutes of leg work. And it goes on sale all the time, you can get every available piece of content for like $120 for large portions of the year.

its got so many good points, which hurts so bad that it has so many bad points too- the fact it could take so little effort to be amazing HURTS.

Lodi and Drifter are carrying Destiny hard imho. Really tough that they had to sacrifice Cayde tho… I loved how light footed he approached everything. Him riding the falling debry down like a rodeo was insane and speaks for itself!
