Media Solo Flawless Sundered Doctrine with Glaive/Melee Builds in 41 mins!

Thought I'd challenge myself to solo flawless every dungeon using glaive/melee builds, because apparently I enjoy pain. Sundered Doctrine is already a marathon solo and even more so when you insist on fighting every encounter with this kind of loadouts.

But this time around I managed to finish a solo flawless run in 41 minutes using some of my favorite glaives and melee builds! It was a test of patience, stubbornness, and questionable life choices... But I'm super happy with the end result and excited to share with you all!

If you’re into the whole “unkillable wall of muscle” tank fantasy but were emotionally devastated by the Stronghold changes, the Wormgod + Vexcalibur Strand build I used in encounters 1 and 2 might speak to you. It’s tanky and hits hard, every glaive melee deals a lot of dmg to yellow bars and you have glaive shield (97,5 dmg reduction) + Overshields + Healing (Banner of War).

Hope you like this touch of madness comming from a very peculiar guardian. And if you are like me, or the other 10 guardians that like glaive builds around here, let me know if you have any questions about the loadouts / strats I've used.

What would you do for Hefnd, Warlord’s Ruin final boss? Caster frame, Winterbite shot,?

I've had the opportunity to fight this one after the new expansion dropped. I ran wormgod + Flechette Storm too. It's a comfortable solo 2-Phase, you can stack your burning fists before dmg starts and spam flechette at the boss, after that just dump your heavy weapon for extra dmg (wormgod at x5 is a 35% dmg buff to every weapon, not only a 400% melee buff)

Flechette Storm spam + Wormgod at x5 hits harder than a thundercrash, and it doesn't take much longer either. You get all your charges back after your super ends, pretty useful!

Edit: I was running Vexcal to easily stack and benefit from Wormgod, and to activate Shieldcrush (artifact mod) on demand.

Wow! I really appreciate the detailed explanation. Now I need to work on actually getting the hang of using Flechette Storm. I’ll need to update my Vexcal too.

Vexcal is awesome! And for Flechette Storm, in this season, I'd say Vexcal or any other source of woven mail, overshields or frost armor, are the best way to boost your flechette.

Tractor cannon is good but requires you to get close, flechette is awesome to deal ranged dps so sometimes your gameplay loop will feel disconnected. Shieldcrush (artifact mod) is a 50% melee boost when tractor is a 30% debuff on the target. It means that you can deal more dmg with a vexcal on hands than with a tractor when running solo. Best case scenario is to have both at the same time (a buff and a debuff), but on strand titan woven mail lasts for 5 seconds without Into the Fray (since you are running flechette storm chances are you are running Banner of War too) but vexcal's overshield lasts for 8s, is refreshable upon melee kill or just by holding glaive defense for a split second. It's an easy combo to run and since you have overshields + healing all the time, it's kinda safe too.
