Disclaimer: I completely understand if this isn’t something people would want, but I think it’s an interesting idea, especially since Halo is such a big part of Bungie’s history.

I just realized that Helldivers 2 and Destiny 2 are both owned by Playstation Studios. HD2 recently added ODSTs and Halo-inspired weapons in a lore-friendly and tasteful collaboration. This shows that collaborations with Microsoft-owned IPs are possible now. We kind of saw this before with the 30th Anniversary Halo weapons, but those were unofficial, likely due to legal barriers. HD2's collab suggest those barriers might be easing up.

I know we're hot off the presses from the Renegades reveal, and I know that not everyone likes how that crossover is being handled as an entire expansion. I'm not sold on it myself, but it got me thinking. It would be really cool to see a Halo crossover in the same vein. Lore-friendly and inspired, but not Master Chief making any direct appearances or anything.

I think it would pretty cathartic for Bungie to return to Halo in some form, while also creating a unique mash-up with Destiny.

Imagine a Halo ring as a full destination to explore, vast and mysterious. Maybe there's a fanatic cult, an alliance of Cabal, Fallen, and even Vex, who worship the remnants of a long-dead alien race. Picture an infectious version of the Hive, lying dormant for centuries on the ring, threatening to spread to any organic life it touches. Perhaps during the journey, we stumble upon a Titan in cryo-sleep aboard a derelict ship in orbit of the monolith, who joins us against the threat.

I’ll admit, my bias is showing lol. I would be all in for something like this. I get that many people who haven’t played Halo might not care for it, so I completely understand why others might not want another crossover-style expansion. Still, it’s just a fun idea I thought was worth sharing.

Stuff is perpetually loading and nothing actually shows up. As in character won't show up, UI is bugged to high hell on portal and everything in that sector, inventory only show the icons of 4 things and everything else is loading. Is anyone else experiencing this besides me?

Every live action game is trying to stay relevant. If Bungie didn't change when it comes to decision making for both Destiny 1 and 2 we wouldn't be here, and I understand that.

I am making this post after watching the Renegades reveal. While it's cool to have Starwars collabs and all, I think it's a little too much where the entire universe is changed to fit a Starwars universe while moving further away from Destiny's original art style and the feeling of what made Destiny Destiny in the first place.

And honestly, I feel that a lot of the guns and armour that we've been seeing lately has been drifting away from the original style of the game. It's very hard to explain, but I think this video as well as this one explains it well. I suggest Bungie bring back their original identity through it's art style AND the music. We need that mysteriousness back and I think that they can use the amazing lore of this game to achieve it.

If they can bring back the original feeling of the game when we all first downloaded it and explored the universe for the first time, I think that's the key to bringing back the fun. But that starts only when they embrace the original art style and music. Then, I think it will be best if they don't over-complicate and clutter the game like they did with the portal. It should stay simple (key word).

If anyone wants to chime in, feel free. I'm open to changing my current views but I genuinely believe that this has been the reason that I, personally, have been more and more detached from the game. And also the fact that there's true feeling that's being put into the game and it's more corporate, but that's for another discussion. There are a lot of positive things that we've seen in the game (like fireteam finder) but right now, I'm just pointing out what I'd like to see changed.

This is all in the title I'm curious what you all think now that a little gameplay have been shown. I don't know what to think myself, in some aspect I'm excited but after Edge of fate I don't want to get hyped and get disappointed again. So I'm asking what are your thoughts on Renegades now

• medieval weapons only(swords, bow, glaives) x4 challenge multipliers
• old west weapons only(hand guns, machine guns, shotguns, bows,) x4 challenge multipliers
• precisions weapons only(scout rifles, snipers, bows, linear fusion rifles, pulse rifles) x4 challenge multipliers
• bow weapons only(bows) x5 challenge multipliers

Important: Only one of them can be used at the same time

Is anyone else having problems with the game freezing and having to restart the game since this latest update

every other season, you log in and get a story to play through, but this "major" update, nothing. just a couple of new modes and a tiny little bit of lore from devrim....is that really what we've come to now?

I specifically was looking at the Emblem of the Worthy for Season 10 but none of the season pass emblems are included.

Absolutely wild buff. Also feels much faster and mobile, though that's just personal taste. Haven't tried it in forever, but this is easily the best woven mail aspect in the game now.

After doing my first Reclaim the next step asked me to claim my first reward from the event pass. I did this and the quest step just did nothing. Scratching my head.

The reward space is absolutely fucking awful. The only reason to do it right now is to grind for reclaim event gear (low chance at crossbow), so make sure you're getting tier 5s first.

He only has 2 gunsmith bounties and the repeatable. But you can buy the repeatable forever, however you only get 1 bounty. Sunk a bunch of glimmer before I realized. Also, he sounds different.

It is great that you are halting unnecessary nerfs though it is kind of a "F*** you" saying it right after all the nerfs you mentioned last week. But you need to explain what is or isn't a "non-critical" nerf/balance change. Without giving examples of past nerfs we have no way of knowing how impactful this pause will be.

Going off your last nerf announcement. Our the nerds to super regen from Dyad, Outbreak and Hierarchy critical or non critical? Is the Queenbreaker nerf critical? How about the Overture nerf? Or what about the Tarrabah or LoW. Is the nerf to vortex grenades critical?

Also, bonus drops are still minus 10. A+ scores at 450 power are only +1s. The pit of heresy dungeon lair is incredibly long for just 1 drop, despite Bungie saying on the stream that going forward their aiming for caldera pace to be the standard for everything

the new update sucks, the new reclaimed playlist is more boring the public events, the quest is bugged too at the "claim your first even track reward" (claimed 10, didn't complete) and worse some of my exotic armors are now bugged! being stuck at lower light levels and infusion doesn't seem to increase it!

it says purchasing/owning a previous pass gives you chronologs? i already had purchased all of these passes and i have zero chronologs? how are you supposed to earn enough to purchase all of this? is this a bug or are previous pass owners just getting the shaft? the current pass only awards 2,350 chronologs, to buy an entirety of a past pass is over 3k. there’s no way this isn’t supposed to be retroactive.

Bungie, I see what you did with Zavala offering me a +2 power boost.

Why? WHY?!

I’m begging you Bungie. Literally any change. Do anything to it. I can’t think of many exotics which have been this ass since launch and have remained so for this long. Not even a whisper about it being of interest to change either is crazy. How this exotic has not even had an attempt made on it is wild.

I infused a chest piece up to 239, but on the item it says Power:19, though below that it says 200+39 as expected. Equipping it seems to give the correct power and DIM shows it as 239.

Happened with two different exotic armor pieces after the patch. Was infusing a "new" exotic of the same name into the old exotic. Not sure if it's happening for other items.

On second watch, the power 19 item says 10+0 before the infusion? Isn't that wrong?

So the new activity can only be matchmade on one map and still have to deal with the -30/-40 power in master/grand master?

Portal is simultaneously the worst and best thing in Destiny 2, but I miss seasonal activities.

It’s Destiny, wearing Star Wars as a skin, with Helldivers baked into the new activities and abilities, and New Vegas reputation and vibes in the new story, and I’m down for all of it

Don't inspect them on Xbox. Not sure about other platforms.
