the notion that the average joe can’t get rich from just a salary is hustle porn shite. it’s also one outing themselves as being unaware of just how high salaries can get in tech, law, and finance.

Doesn't matter what you make.

Even on 200k a year, it's how you make that money work.

Even on 200k, unless you invest you won't be rich.

If you think otherwise, you're a fool.

i agree that investing is the top priority with regards to building wealth, but your comment is insinuating you need equity in your work to become rich. which isn’t true.

i have a friend who makes upwards of half a mil a year and hasn’t a clue how to invest and has little interest in it right now. she’s pretty fucking rich.
