I have always maintained that if Durban was run like Cape Town is run, it would easily be the best city in SA, and one of the best in the world. I'm not saying that Durban should be run by the DA, I'm just saying if it were run like Cape Town.

Well it's a coalition government now including the DA, and they have been doing a good job so far. But to be fair to the ANC, a lot of the infrastructure projects currently going on, started even before the coalition government came in. Practically everywhere you look there is work going on.

Thanks. I had no idea the DA and the ANC were in a coalition in Durban. Holding thumbs it works out for you guys.

I visit every year or so from Ireland. I love the city. I enjoyed the video pretty well balanced. I winced every time he mispronounced "Umhlanga"

My guests from Ireland (I'm a tour guide in Durban) told me they loved their stay in Durban, preferring it over Cape Town. I love that the city is looking better than it has in years and that the people are the friendliest in SA. Awesome video!

Thanks for posting that. Really enjoyed it. Positive but honest review.
Going to watch the 41 minute take on Orania next on his channel. Let's see it how different it will be to a recent BBC documentary.

This was a well-balanced review of Durban in my opinion. It's a pity that South Africans continue to spew Durban hate even in the comments section of the video like one gets on Reddit .
