🆘 Help / Ayuda ℹ Visa turista USA

Estoy aplicando a la vida de turista y recibí este email para hacer el pago en el banco. Alguien me puede confirmar si este email es real? El website es https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv… me está dando duda xq no es .gov. Gracias

The current visa system is $12 USD for 180 days. This fee is collected at the airport prior to going through customs and can be paid with currency, bank cards, or BTC.

This looks like a scam

Then it may have been just within the last month.

I was holding my $12 in cash for them and they wouldn't accept the at the airport customs and they pointed to a piece of paper that I didn't read, but I assume it's a waiver for no more tourist visa payments.

Parece que los demás comentarios están confundiendo el tipo de visa.

OP, entiendo que es una aplicación de Visa de turista estadounidense para viajar a USA. El email es real y ese es el dominio que usan. Hace un par de meses cambiaron sus sistemas y ese es el nuevo que usan, así que dale con confianza.

Not sure that's a real request, I know they changed systems last year but as far I remember, the payment is made in the system when requesting the appointment date, you can pay by credit card right there in the appointment page, that's how it used to be anyways, if not sure I'd suggest giving the embassy a call to verify

Yes is from the system to make the appointment! There’s an option to pay with CC but I am opting for option to pay at the bank.. ok it’s looks like it’s an official website then.. thanks

Wow ya subio de precio. El año pasado pague $160 para mi tía

I just came over last week as a Canadian and did not have to pay any transactional fees for a Visa. The previous year I did have to pay $12.

I guess they are trying to promote more tourism by removing those fees this year?

It’s actually for my niece she’s Salvadorian so she has to apply for a tourist visa

Looks like a scam. No need for a visa when booking a flight from the US. They did require you pay a tourist visa an it was paid AT the Airport on arrival not before hand. But I've gone twice this year an they seemingly have stopped that payment requirement probably to boost tourism.
