Has anyone pre-ordered the new Segway GT3 Pro, and if so, where?
I’ve only stumbled across a couple sites that are selling it. But I’m curious why there Segway site doesn’t have links to preorder the GT3 Pro.

Don't take my word for it, but I recall there is a design flaw on the stem, causing a failure point/snap. It may not be so much a design flaw as a batch of stems aren't up to spec, and may be weaker than they should be. Possibly an issue with a batch of the metals they sourced.
They may have delayed launch in order to rectify the issue, and replace the faulty stems/components instead of doing a recall later down the line and risking the liability issues.
Interesting, I have not heard about this issue. I’m all for waiting to ensure quality. I wanted to maybe pre order but was hoping to do it directly from Segway vs a third party.
It may have been an issue with the ZT3 and not the GT3... Like I said, I'm not sure. I just vaguely remember some kind of design flaw with a new Segway model being posted in this subreddit over the last month.
No, not on the GT3/GT3 Pro. That was the GT1 & GT2 that had a handful of failures but still stayed up for sale. The reason for the GT3 Pro not releasing in the US yet is a Battery shortage & US Tariffs. The design (body) have already been out for over a year as the ST1/ST2. The GT3 Pro is getting a bigger battery/display, deck grip & the X vs the ST2.
I have preordered two, one for my girlfriend and on for me. They were supposed to have arrived May the 30th, but is now delayed until the June the 10th! I really hope they arrive soon! (Denmark).
As per today (June the 16th) they have now been delayed until June the 27th! 😪 One can't get a proppet answer on when they will actually arrive!
They did yes, got them yesterday 🤩 They drive absolutely amazing, the stability, acceleration, foot space and range makes it so much more better than on the G2 MAX. I have never been so excited to go for a ride before, it's a thrill everyone should experience at some point. 😃
It is a lot of money, yes. But trust me, if you're enjoying your MAX G2S you will absolutely love the GT3 PRO! It is quite alot bigger overall, so you won't be able to take it with you in the car, train, bus etc. but as a commuter from your home it is nothing less than amazing! If you haven't tried a similar powered scooter before this will absolutely blow your mind! The endless power and torque is so addictive, and will for sure put a huge smile on your face everytime.
If you enjoy riding e-scooters and can spare the cash then you won't regret buying the GT3 PRO, not for a second! The G2 MAX is stil a great great scooter and the portability makes it a lot more flexible, which is why I kept them as well.
I pre ordered one from BoostedUSA and they said they should be getting them on July 15th. Today. I haven't heard anything yet though. I'm feeling like there might be a delay but who knows. Edit. As of July 25th they have arrived at Boosted. #instock
Absolutely no on! People really don't notice it in general. When we drive in town and next to people they don't look more than they did when we were driving on the G2 MAX. One day when we were out driving a police car drove right past us, granted we only drove at 17km/h in the bike lane, but they didn't even turn their heads towards us. I definitely hope it stays that way, and the police should have better things to attend to. I do believe that they can see the difference between people driving responsible and people who drive like crazy and put other people's life at risk. Always wear helmet and make sure there is light on scooter, drive responsible and stick to the 20km/h speed limit when near other people and cars.
That sounds awesome man! And yes I always drive responsible, I’m not taking any risk or put people in danger, mine also drive 33 max, but won’t charge anymore sadly, and I hate all the people looking at me on my bike haha so I guess I go for this or the non pro version :) thanks
I don't think you have anything to fear then 👍🏻 when cops see you drive responsible then there's really no need for them to pull you over.
Absolutely, you won't regret it for a second 🤩 The standard GT3 you can unlock simply by buying a code (70 euros I believe), by doing so it would be a great scooter for sure!
I just Pre Ordered mine from Boosted. Hopefully the scooters arrive on time.
They still have available slots up for grabs. I've been talking with Debbie there via emails for several weeks. She answered all of my questions quickly so I paid up.
I think it's logistics. Now they say that they will be in their hands on Friday. I'm not concerned yet. They have been keeping me posted. Last Mile is giving the same info as well..
Anyone else getting delays and run around? Looks like these scooters are in US but Segway hasn’t shipped or delayed the shipment? Curious on anyone else out there…
I actually spoke with a rep today from BoostedUSA where I preordered my GT3 Pro. She says that the boat is on the water for these units and they are expected to be available for delivery starting July 15th.
Yeah, they’re reputable. I’ll be receiving one hopefully right at that point or a few days earlier. Threw it on my credit card and I’ll just pay over the course of a couple months. I know there are better scooters out there in terms of power or range or off-roading capability, but I don’t think there’s really one that’s as well-balanced for the price as this one, with a big brand name backing. Also, anywhere near 50 mph on a scooter is more than enough for just about any purpose. Let’s order!
So weird. I’m like, do some stores just have early stock of the scooters and are willing to release them early? I keep hearing that Segway is stating later this year, but then certain sites are saying July.
I received my gt3 pro about a month ago but I am in Canada. Yes I have it. As someone posted here, it may have something to do with the USA tariffs because normally the US gets stuff well before Canada. The max g3 only became available in Canada after months of it being available in the US. I saw many online review from US owners while Canada was still under pre-order at that time. That has now change for whatever reason for the gt3 pro.
He has 2 local dealers near him. I've seen a post of his where he said so but I don't know exactly which one or where. Maybe he will chime in here shortly.
What are you being told about arrival date ? I was told that the scooters have made it through customs but the dealer is having trouble getting them from LA to San Fran. They are saying next week. The 22nd of July now.
They did not have a firm date, but we’re expecting them potentially on Saturday to come into New York City, but it is a very fluid situation so I don’t have a good answer
BoostedUSA told me that they will be in San Francisco by the 22nd. Last Mile SF location basically.
I got an email from them that went out to all pre order customers and I also verified it all with them via an email.

Looks like I'm getting the run around on my end. Last week they said they would be in Today and they are not. Now they say blah blah blah. Soon, soon. I was hoping this wouldn't happen but it is.
Did they have any specifics? Like an exact date? I haven’t heard anything on my side other than it’s coming…. I’m in no rush but if shipment has come from Asia then it’s really just distribution.
I did hear that maybe the release would happen in July. I was just unsure why there is no pre order info on their website when a couple third party distributors have pre orders up.
Seems like they have pre orders up for their other new products, such as the ZT3 Pro
Have you received confirmation? I ordered way back in April and haven't received a notification. Update: I received confirmation that my order has shipped via email. Thanks big shout out to Debbie.
Yeah I got a tracking number also but it's not in UPS hands yet. Just a created shipping label. EDIT, my tracking number is active now but it shows it only weighs 3 pounds. Maybe that's the free helmet that was included with their deal. So I'm not thinking my GT3 pro has shipped yet.
