Metal fatigue. Happens if you ride over bumps. If you don't have suspension, don't do it.

Steels have a measurable fatigue limit (the maximum stress that it can take over and over for 'infinity' cycles). Aluminum on the other hand has no such fatigue limit. Why for example aviation has rigorous inspections and service procedures managing the structural aluminum details and components. In addition to rigorous design and validation of these details and components.
