Hi, I just got my Iscooter I9 and I am very happy with it. I live in England so you can’t ride them outside of private property but I don’t give a damn. However when I go riding, people give me bad looks and I feel like they are silently judging me. There has been some people who have been nice and complimented my scooter but they are few and far between. I have been fighting the bad looks since I started riding. How can I deal with this?

MAX G3 has a 0.6kWh battery.

Worst case, I get 35km range.

A full charge is 4.5 cents.

That means 1 penny = 7.5km

wtf.

I wasn't thinking about cost to operate when I bought this, but if you told me it would be this cheap, I would have checked your math.

We got rid of our penny years ago, so if I top up at a friend's house, I can't even pay them if I wanted to.

I guess people already in the hobby take this for granted, but it's pretty mind blowing as someone who just got their first scooter. No reviews anywhere were talking about how insanely cheap it is to get around on these things.

Hello, my friend and I just did a shunt mod on his iscooter ix5s and that thing is sick, so i’m thinking about doing it to my joyor t10, there’s a guy on tiktok that did it and he claims that the scooter works just fine. What are your thoughts on this idea?

I am selling a bunch of my current electric scooters to update my lineup, as i already am served in the top speed department, i was looking for the maximum torque and comfort below 35-36KG

I found the Nami Klima, Kaabo Mantis King GT and classic Dualtron Victor

Victor lacks suspension, headlight, horn, kickplate so its a no go

Mantis King GTcost way less, around 1500€ weight less, but only 30A controller so im afraid it will lack torque

So i found the Klima tuned with Magura MT5E and PMT Tyres for 2000€, do you think it is worth it or would the Mantis King GT would be equivalent ? ( 30A controller on Mantis, 40A on Klima )

Hi all! I’m looking to buy a scooter for my significant other. He’s only ever ridden the ride-share ones like lime and bird but he’s already hooked. This would mainly be for fun rides rather than long commutes. We live in a city, so he’d mostly be using sidewalks and bike lanes.

I’d like to keep the budget under $800, under $500 would be even better. Any recommendations on the best scooters or tips on where to start looking would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

My friend has an iscooter ix5s, it has 1000w but with the shunt it’s around 1400w, even before, the speed limit was on 45 and it didn’t change with the battery level as on other scooters, we are thinking on getting a new screen but does anyone how to unlimit it?

So I’m confused rn, I bought my scooter from ienyrid from their official website about a week ago, but I’ve been confused about this, he said, I tried to order it first through Amazon first, but for some reason it wouldn’t ship to my state (ny) and so then I try to go through their website and it could ship well to New York. So I’m confused on why it couldn’t have been delivered to my state on Amazon, but it could be delivered to my state through their official website. (The reason why I could’ve been delivered through Amazon was because of certain laws or something like that and I’m wondering what laws they mean or why it could’ve been delivered through Amazon.)

Hey everyone, I'm usually riding a scooter but got a chance to test out this e-bike, and it's insane how much power it has; it feels like the Emove Cruiser. The ride is super smooth and silent, which was a trip. If you've ever tried a bike like this, what did you think?

So my landlord doesn't want the scooter battery indoors, and I've had to come up with some bootleg scenario to keep the battery outside and "contained" as per his request.

So I have a 3mm steel box in which I've placed the battery. Each side has 3 inch long cut out that's about 1 inch in height.. Basically a long rectangular slit for ventilation

This then goes inside a rain proof storage container which I've covered with a plastic sheet.

The idea is to have a bag of sand on top of the bin as well as 2 smaller ones surrounding the battery inside.

This setup gets stored in my private courtyard which hardly gets any direct sunlights...the box is always in the shade.

At this point I don't know what else I can do to satisfy the landlord and keep the battery safe.

I'm based in South Africa...coldest it gets here is around 41 and the hottest 86 (summer is 4 months away)

id like something under $200, the lower the better. it only needs to be able to go like 10 miles on a charge and as long as its gonna get me from point a to point b without killing me im ok with it. i know 200 is a low price point but it legit just needs to be able to get me to work on time since its a 2ish hour walk and i dont wanna leave my house at 5

Hey everyone, I own a Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen) and I’m trying to find out the exact rim bed width (internal rim width).

The official Xiaomi specs only mention the 10-inch tires, but don’t provide any details on the rim itself. I need this info because I’m considering switching to airless tires instead of the stock pneumatic ones. Specifically, I’m looking at these:

Hello I am just wondering if anyone knows what error code 05 and error code 30 mean on the gtr and are they easily (low cost) fixable or would you need to spend a bit more to get it up and running? From what I found online error 30 is something to do with communication so that doesn't seem that hard to fix but error 5 is like an undervoltage issue? The scooter powers on it just doesn't charge.

I currently use a bicycle helmet. It was a good brand/model recommended by a bike shop (Don’t have the brand/model handy). My scooter is a cheap, low power (36V), scooter that maxes out at 18mph and usually only reaches 15 mph.

If the helmet is okay, would I need something else for a higher power (48V ) scooter when I upgrade later?

So was coving every possible hole with silicon to make it a bit more resistant to water splashes and accidentally overtightened the deck screws and bent it. As far as I know it's all rubber where the bolts are located so it shouldn't be the metal that is bent. How bad is it?

I am a motorsports photographer and am tired of walking track side every weekend, I have never owned a scooter, I used one at a track where they provided one (I think it was from segway).

I need a robust scooter, because the service roads are awful sometimes(gravel roads, no asphalt sometimes, just driving through dirt).

It doesn't get too steep most of the time, so elevation it should be able to handle to a certain degree, pun intended.

Reach is not too big of an issue, cause I can charge it every 3-4 hours, and on average I need to go about 12 km per day on track.

Budget would be 300-500 €.

Hey everyone, I have an iScooter T8 in Germany, which is limited to about 19.6 km/h by default. I’d like to slightly increase the speed, just to around 22 km/h – nothing higher.

I’ve read that there’s a service menu (P-Settings) where small adjustments, like wheel circumference or other parameters, can slightly affect the top speed.

Has anyone tried accessing this menu and changing settings to achieve a small speed boost?

Is it possible to do this without swapping in the international controller?
