Tech Support What is the name of this Segway bolt?
I am looking to realign my wheel with my handlebars on my zt3, I came across this bolt and don't know much about it. Thank you.

We purchased some electric scooters for the kids earlier this year and wanted something that we could ride with them. As a big dude I am still very impressed with the power up hills. Battery range is also great since I ride slower with the family and it stretches pretty far.

Update: figured out a way to make it work. I had a 12v freezer on the passenger seat. Moved it to my top bunk and strapped the scooter to the seat.
Apreciate yall
Original post:
I bought my first scooter to bring with my in my semi truck so that I would have a way to get around when parked.
It is too big... I have storage under the bed that can be accessed from the outside. But the handle bars are too wide to fit through the opening and even with them removed the scooter is about a foot too long to fit because of hitting AC ducting and braces.
Won't fit under the dash infront of the passenger seat.
Thinking about trying to put it on the passenger seat and strapping it do the back rest, but that will require lifting a 60 pound scooter over my head on the regular and I just dont know it is worth it.
Considering trying to return it and going for a one wheel or an EUC instead which I am 90% sure will fit between the passenger seat and the dash, but I am worried about the learning curve on them.
Just aggravating because I had got myself pumped up for this.

No one likes changing a scooter tire -- probably the least fun and most annoying repair on an electric scooter. That said, I've soldiered through a few changes and never had problems breaking a tire bead with just a couple chunks of wood.
I currently have this Ninebot with stock tubeless tires that I just can't unseat. Leaning on it with a piece of 2x4 lumber doesn't do the trick, and the bead is solidly stuck on the rim to the point where I can't jam tire spoons in -- the rim lip seems to shallow to get any leverage at all.
I've seen people break beads with a couple of woodworking trigger clamps, but some of those clamps don't seem to generate much pressure. The real question here is: can I break a stubborn bead with a couple of trigger clamps that are only rated at 35 pounds each? If not, should I just spring for the hardcore 100 pound model?

Hey everyone, I recently added a key cylinder to my iScooter T8 and wanted to hear your thoughts. Any tips, suggestions for improvement, or ideas on making it even better?
Looking forward to your feedback!

Does anyone have any experience with the Gyroor X3? The specs and removable battery are exactly what I’m looking for, but I’m hesitant to pull the trigger when I can’t seem to find a single unsponsored review on the internet. If it’s not good what are some other good scooters around the $500 mark that have a removable battery? I’m going to be using it on a college campus, so I won’t have to deal with any hills.

Touching every state except Alaska and Hawaii of course

So my landlord doesn't want the scooter battery indoors, and I've had to come up with some bootleg scenario to keep the battery outside and "contained" as per his request.
So I have a 3mm steel box in which I've placed the battery. Each side has 3 inch long cut out that's about 1 inch in height.. Basically a long rectangular slit for ventilation
This then goes inside a rain proof storage container which I've covered with a plastic sheet.
The idea is to have a bag of sand on top of the bin as well as 2 smaller ones surrounding the battery inside.
This setup gets stored in my private courtyard which hardly gets any direct sunlights...the box is always in the shade.
At this point I don't know what else I can do to satisfy the landlord and keep the battery safe.
I'm based in South Africa...coldest it gets here is around 41 and the hottest 86 (summer is 4 months away)

Just as the subject line says I'm trying to figure out how to balance the tires of a zondo z001 Pro the one that goes says it goes 58 it has 10 in fat wheels which I'm not sure if I like because to find the correct tubes for them is virtually impossible unless I go through zando themselves and they want to charge me $50 plus shipping for the one tube which is ridiculous and I can't find them anywhere.. The closest I could find is described as this 4.00/3.50-6 now why they leave out that it's a 10-in tire diameter I don't know but the correct ones when I look up what I am supposed to get or for these particular fat tires is 10x4.5x6. The problem is the ones that keep getting are slightly too big and form a wrinkle no matter how I do it I have tried smothering the inside of the tire and tube with Vaseline thinking because it does stick the rubber on rubber so I figured lube it up and I can spread it out but it's still forms a crease as hard as I try and then I have the split rims and trying my hardest using a flashlight and tools to make sure I do not pinch any of the tube somehow even after a day of using it and thinking okay I've done it right this time it'll go flat and I'll try to pump air in it and I'll hear it pouring out I'll take the rental part and see a huge slice or cut or whatever where it was pinched too hard and eventually cut it open. I don't like these fat tires to be honest they kind of steer funny and the minute they lose air they steer real funny now they do let you drive it a little longer because of the thick side walls with no air in them but it's the only issue I have with this scooter I think it's the best scooter by far you're going to get for the money because even with the unbalanced tires that starts happening at 40 mph I still can hit 50 I just can't go any faster than that as I can feel something kick in maybe like a traction control or motor cutoff because of the vibration maybe it thinks I'm losing traction but I would do like to go 40 to 50 when I'm on my way to work and the vibration I'm afraid is going to vibrate the thing apart is already broke the rear fender off and I've had to replace so any any information on where to get that exact tire besides Amazon because I can't find it there no I already looked looked at Walmart can't find it there The only place I can find it as zando for $50 plus shipping and that's for one stinking tube that should cost maybe five bucks. I've even thought about switching tires if I could but I'm not sure and 11-in tire would fit I guess I should look more into that because it's a 6-in rim that's very fat Anyway help please I am out of auctions and I am tired of using just about one tube a day is what it's averaging out to now.

What I thought was a sound coming from the front tire is actually a high pitched vibration sound coming inside the brake handle.
It only starts once you have it up to full speed while not using the brake. Once it starts it's a constant sound until you slow the scooter down some.
Anybody know what it's most likely to be and what's the best way to fix it?

Hello, so recently I’ve been riding electric scooters with my little cousin. I have a hover 1 alpha 2.0 that goes 18mph. He’s using my old electric scooter that goes 8mph that’s a hover that is barely working. He wants one like mine for Christmas but his parents don’t wanna spend 450$ on the same one that I have. Any recommendations? Sorry if it’s a low price I’m asking

Hey everyone, I'm usually riding a scooter but got a chance to test out this e-bike, and it's insane how much power it has; it feels like the Emove Cruiser. The ride is super smooth and silent, which was a trip. If you've ever tried a bike like this, what did you think?
r/ElectricScooters • u/betam4x • 3h ago
I currently use a bicycle helmet. It was a good brand/model recommended by a bike shop (Don’t have the brand/model handy). My scooter is a cheap, low power (36V), scooter that maxes out at 18mph and usually only reaches 15 mph.
If the helmet is okay, would I need something else for a higher power (48V ) scooter when I upgrade later?
Thanks!

Hey r/electricscooters,
I'm one of the developers for the Urban Rider app. For the last few months, our small team (based in Berlin) has been grinding away on a massive update based on feedback from riders like you.
The biggest complaint we heard was the frustration of city commuting: trying to plan a trip with multiple errands, getting sent on bizarre detours, or navigation apps that just don't understand two-wheelers.
So, with our new version 4.0, we focused on solving that. Here’s what we’ve added:
We’re really proud of it, but we know it's not perfect. We’d genuinely love for you to try it out and give us your brutally honest feedback. What works? What sucks? What feature are we still missing?
We'll be hanging out in the comments all day to answer any questions.
You can check it out here: https://www.urbanrider.app/
Cheers and ride safe!
TL;DR: We're indie devs who just updated our scooter/moped navigation app. It now has multi-stop routes, smarter re-routing, and a "discover new rides" feature. We're looking for honest feedback from real riders.

Hey everyone, I recently got a KuKirin G4 electric scooter. I love it, but I live in an apartment where the only access is a steep staircase so no ramp or elevator. The scooter is pretty heavy, so carrying it up and down every day isn’t realistic. Can i find a small ramp from amazon that can bring it up 5-6 steep stairs? I tried putting a cardboard piece to rev it up but too much friction.
I’ve been thinking about locking it outside, but I’m stuck on the charging issue since I don’t want to bring this heavy machine inside everyday. The G4’s battery isn’t removable. Charging outdoor using a power bank worries me because of rain/snow and fire risk. I am thinking of putting it in a bag or cover while charging seems unsafe since it traps heat and moisture. Whats the best thing i can to charge it without bringing it upstairs? I don’t have a charging dock near by so prolly have to use a power bank.
