Help with first EUC
The video is how most of our sidewalks look like. Bumpy and broken.
Im 5'6" or 176cm, 120 lbs or 54kg I need a knobby wheel with Suspension for Off-road and street cruising. That can endure Snow/rain (i wont over-do it)
I heard not so great things with InMotion so im not interested. I need an EUC that has low maintenance bc im not familiar with mechanics. I would prefer not to get a second one bc i "grew out" of the first one. I dont need to go 50mph. I care more about going to A to B without it losing charge, breaking down or struggling to go up hills. I dont care about the learning curve, i will learn either way.
I live in upstate, NY in a very rural area. Theres barely any sidewalks here. Very hilly. I would prefer an EUC around 50lbs max.
Im planning on getting one next year so im saving up, getting protective gear and getting in shape before getting my EUC.
KingSong S22 Pro $2,600 Begode Extreme $2,400 KingSong S18- $1,700
These are what i narrowed it down to while researching for a while. Any suggestions on which to choose? Thanks in advance.

None of these wheels are 50lbs max.. Think the only wheel that is close to your requirements are the Nosfet Aero. If you want low maintenance, go with a wheel with hydraulic suspension especially for winter riding, or get a non suspension wheel for winter riding.

Leaperkim and the nosfet aero are the least maintenance wheels. The aero is 55lbs, but sacrifices range and top speed for staying lightweight. I get about 30 miles range on mine cruising about 20-25mph. I weigh 65kg. Its a great small wheel, but will feel limited on bigger roads
A patton s would be a good buy if you want to keep things compact and want to buy once in terms of power. Has a top speed of 45mph and you can probably get 40 miles of range cruising at a decent speed. Good fork suspension with low maintenance

A Patton S is one of those general, do-it-all, “if I could only have one wheel for all occasions” wheels. High quality, built like a tank, nimble, yet stable at speed. Not generally a beginner wheel, but with a strategy of learning on an end game wheel, the Patton S is a solid choice.

Get a Patton and call it a day.
Don't even think about Kingsong or Begode.

My Begode wheels have been great.

Their build quality is just not as good.
If you want the performance they offer, then that is the reason to get them.

There’s no such thing as a maintenance free wheel. This whole community is based on a do-it-yourself mentality because there are so few service centers. Think long and hard before you drop thousands of $ on a wheel that you can’t/won’t work on. Also, all wheels have issues. Leaperkim has prob the best record but Inmotion wheels are great. I’ve had 2 and they’ve been flawless. Buy from a reputable dealer like ewheels, especially if you won’t touch your wheel if it has issues.

Rocket is also an alternative. Great suspension, power and range for the money. Just be sure to go for the nobby tyre.

I'd suggest going for a Patton-S. It's still heavy at 80lbs, but you won't really feel it motion - my OG Patton is heavier and extremely nimble. Also, a LeaperKim wheel is about indestructible and low-maintenance as you're going to get, although you should be prepared to open it up eventually.

the extreme and patton are both good choices. kingsong is pretty outdated by modern standards
