I work for FEMA. My opinion it’s to much bureaucracy and it needs to be less positions and reformed. Not abolished does he realize states call fema for support cause they can’t handle disasters alone??? Also how states handled covid should be a sign how they will handle a major crisis. Which will be a - show for citizens.

In regards to communication. They want you to follow the “chain of command “ and get butt hurt if not.

Well, the story about the team lead who decided to order everyone to ignore Trump signs is sure proof against your opinion. If she had followed the chain of command, it wouldn’t have created a massive headache for the agency.
