I don't have access to the article, the snippet says the administration has not decided on shutting down the BRIC program.

Remember April 4, 2025? When FEMA clearly called BRIC “wasteful and ineffective” and said it was being axed for pushing “political agendas”? Yeah, well, they’ve now memory-holed that line from the website faster than a PR intern with a Red Bull addiction. And now, Acting Director David “Definitely Not Vigo the Carpathian” Richardson wants you to believe that, no, actually, BRIC isn’t dead—it’s just being “evaluated.” Which in bureaucratic-speak means it’s in a coma and the plug is halfway pulled, but technically still twitching.

He also tossed the hot potato up the chain to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem—because nothing says disaster resilience like outsourcing it to someone who once told kids to buck up after she shot their dog. 🐕🔫
