DISCUSSION I rode LWTL 14 times in a day.
Ok so I ride LWTL 14 times in 7 1/2 hours on Labor Day weekend. Am I a little crazy for this, or is this a regular thing for die hard Epcot fans? Thinking about doing this for the other smaller rides at the park (Figment, Nemo, Spaceship Earth)

I can't say that is a routine thing for anybody I know.
Certainly riding it regularly or riding it more than once in a row is a thing.
But 14 times over 7.5 hours? I'd consider it a bit crazy. Though, I think I would enjoy LWTL for 7 hours more than I would Figment or Spaceship Earth or Nemo for the same length of time.

I mean, it was worth it for a free lightning lane and a card signed by all of the cast members. It’s not enough, but really wanna get the message to Disney that not every ride has to be an E-ticket, based on an IP, and usually both.

Nah I don't blame you. I kinda wanna bring a lunch and take a nap and hang out on there for a few hours.

I wonder if they’d let me hang out in the same boat. If so, I’d sit there and work remotely all day.

I don’t find it weird. It’s one the last, “day one”EPCOT attractions. One last reminder of Edutainment.

I read this as “one of the last days for”, to start, and then panicked inside.

only 14 in 7+ hours? those be rookie numbers. it’s a 17 minute loop including the walk back into the queue when it’s a walk-on. I did 7 times in roughly 2 and a quarter hours. I only do it only when the queue time is 5 though.

This ride is sacred to me but I'll be realistic.
All of its magic would disappear if I marathoned it like this.

Look, the only thing causing me from going insane is Offhand Disney and Disney Dan. As much as I love this ride, it’s not fun to look at plants for 7 1/2 hours.

what does LWTL stand for? I was just there and can't connect the letters to a ride. I hope I didn't miss one!

Cast members at Future World attractions called it "Land boats" or just boats.

Not crazy at all. I’ve done something similar. Was having a stressful week at work, called out on Friday and went to Epcot. Rode LWTL all morning, had lunch in Mexico, then rode Spaceship Earth all afternoon. The stress just melted away.

I was at Epcot last week. My three-year-old nephew went on that ride 7 times. He loved every bit of it, including waving at the cast members.

I have a friend who rode Horizons from park open to park close on its last day of operations.

I did it for years as a part-time cast member. Not in a row, but during a 7-hour shift, speiling, and facing backwards.
During training, up to 4 times in a row. In service 2 in a row was normal, 3 if someone was on lunch....or missed their boat during bumping.
OP. I think it was cool. Except maybe the tropical greenhouse, as it can get mildly warm. As an EPCOT nerd, congratulations.
