I felt the trade was fine? It was vetoed by 6 votes. Not saying I want to quit but it’s hella annoying.currently I have no RBs 1 due to Mixon injury.

So this is my first time being a commish and forgot to change the rule setting of bench players can’t be dropped once their games start and someone took advantage of it tonight. Should I allow this to go through because of my negligence? Im thinking of just keeping the setting the same this week to be fair for everyone but then changing it next week for the rest of the season so it doesn’t happen again. Give me some of your thoughts on how to handle this properly.

When a trade occurs that involves players who have already played that week, do the players still switch teams, but the managers still get the points from the players who have already played.

For example: team 1 has Daniels, and trades him after the game to team 2. Does team 1 still get the points from JD?

Is this a justified veto? How do I go about people vetoing trades like this?

As I see it, there was nothing shady about it, no collusion, nothing that should’ve raised red flags. But because it didn’t benefit the rest of the league, they decided to block it.

It honestly feels like the rule in this league is: “If it doesn’t help me, then it shouldn’t help anyone.” And that’s just killing the fun. I was so excited for fantasy season to finally start, spent time talking trades with everyone, and thought this was going to be a fun, competitive year. Instead, it feels like the commissioner (and others) are just misusing the veto power to control the league and make it unplayable.

What makes it worse is that everyone in my league is basically scared to trade at all.

I’m the only one actually willing to make moves and keep things active, but it feels like the second I finally strike a deal with someone, the rest of the league jumps in and vetoes it.

And to make it sting even more, we all actually put money into the prize fund this year. This should’ve been a competitive, exciting season, but now it feels like I’m just throwing money away in a league where fair trades can’t even go through.

Now I literally don’t even want to play in this league anymore. Should I just quit this league?

Just traded for AJ brown capitalizing on the egbuka hype and it gets vetoed in the first hour of him accepting. Do I think the trade skews my way? Absolutely. But there is no world where it should be vetoed like this. What does everybody think?

12 team PPR. This is a new league start up redraft. Original trade was Waddle for Harvey. Then countered with QBs added in. League Vetoed. This felt fairly reasonable and definitely no collusion.

This is first year in this league and this is the first trade that went up and it was vetoed within an hour.

A league of mine is doing FAAB for the first time on ESPN (I know ESPN isn't the best). Running smoothly, but now that we are in week 2 I've foreseen a pretty big issue. On ESPN, I don't see a way to allow for Free Agency to occur on Sundays (for example, if you have a player questionable going into Sunday Night get ruled out 30 mins before kick off, that manager cannot simply add a player but instead must add a bid that doesn't get processed until the next day). Does anyone using ESPN have a remedy for this issue, or is the answer for just me to manually fulfil Sunday Injury transfer requests?

I’ll try to be a short and informative as I can here. This is a cash buy-in, 10 team league of friends I started when I moved away from home last fall. We had no roster/trade issues all of last year on ESPN, so I moved the league to Sleeper moving forward and we will now be keeping 2 drafted players each.

So one of 2 tacos I have decided that he’d drop AJ Brown during his waiver pickup of Quentin Johnston yesterday, while still keeping 2 defenses rostered. After asking him what his reasoning was, it became pretty obvious that he doesn’t understand the implications of the move, and wouldn’t have done so had he understood the fallout that comes with it. A move like this after the first week compromises the competitive integrity of the league, so I felt it was my duty to uphold that integrity by reversing the roster move.

I ran my view of the situation by the manager who had waiver priority and would’ve been set to get AJ, who was in agreement that the move would carry problems with it down the road, so he gave me the green light to take action. I sent a message to the league chat letting them know the reasoning for the reversal to which nobody spoke against.

Do you feel like I handled this correctly? Should I be worried about future crying about it from other members, or do I just let it go since nobody has brought it up after a day, and the manager who actually kinda missed out on AJ was cool with it? Thanks!

Wanted to see the group's thoughts here. We're a 12 team Superflex dynasty league, with a divisional setup where the first 3 and final 3 games are against our divisional rivals.

Our 3 characters here - Arthur, James, and Randy are all in the same division. Randy just beat James in Week 1, and Arthur is also 1-0. Randy plays Arthur in Week 2.

Randy lacks QB depth - basically just having Purdy and Geno. James has a host of starting QBs along with Mac Jones.

James traded Randy Mac Jones for a 2026 3rd round pick today. This felt like a pretty fair and reasonable trade for both parties - Randy now has coverage for Purdy, and James gets a pick for a player he has little use for.

The thing that set off alarm bells is some messages James sent in the group chat right after the trade - "I only made this trade so Randy can potentially beat Arthur. Mac Jones is worth more than a TRP - a late one at that"

The group is split. The trade seems fine on its face, but Arthur isn't happy that 2 teams are coordinating against him.

James is arguing that it works to his benefit if Arthur loses. Arthur has the strongest lineup in their division, where Randy on the other hand is a bit of a Taco. Does this make it okay to admit you're selling a player at a discount? Is this collusion?

Curious what the group thinks here. None of these 3 teams involved are mine FYI.

My league is trying to set it up so we can bid on guys to be picked up on waivers when it would normally process Wednesdays. However, we want it to be $1 pickups the rest of the week and we don't want free pickups on Tuesdays. Essentially the goal is to get waivers to process like normal with bidding process once a week after the games concluded.

We have had a problem where players will be announced out at 12PM Sunday and then you can pick up anyone so we are trying to avoid that. Does anyone know how to set that up? This is what we currently have:

NFL’s Fantasy App, no waivers, Free Agents are first come first serve, and locked at game time. Can someone please tell me what day and what time free agents unlock? (They were still locked Tuesday morning at 8 am EST.) Unsure of the date/time, I changed settings to “unlock” free agents at game time in order for my league to make their moves on Tuesday morning. Please help.

My league is on ESPN (yes I know, at least it isn't yahoo), and chatgpt can't intake the data from my ESPN URLs. I'd love to basically input something along the lines of "analyze the matchups, write a recap with some details about players who went off/flopped and any roster fails etc."Simply typing the matchup info each week into chatgpt or something is going to take way too long.

How do you guys handle when players get ruled out during the game without scoring any points? For instance tonight with Jayden Reed and last week with Worthy. Do you allow them to be substituted onto their bench?

Our NFL.com Fantasy league has it set to 'Waiver Budget' where we have $100 for the season to pick up players off waivers. I'm the commissioner of the league and I'm trying to resolve what looks like a potential bug from the site, but I need some help to make sense of this.

Team Purple submitted the following waiver claims:

Claim 1

Add: TE Dallas Goedert
Drop: K Tyler Bass
Bid: $3

Claim 2

Add: Harold Fannin Jr.
Drop: K Tyler Bass
Bid: $1

Team Orange

Add: TE Dallas Goedert
Bid: $1

Result: TE Dallas Goedert goes to Team Orange and Team Purple's claim 2 is processed. Purple receives a notification that Tyler Bass is not on their team therefore the Goedert pick-up cannot complete.

Shouldn't Team Purple have gotten Goedert because of the highest bid and then their second claim is nullified? I've searched online for any rules to back up waiver priority playing a factor (which I hope not, because it defeats the bidding system unless it's a tie) or anything else to explain why this would happen.

I've seen screenshots to back up the claim order and I know this person wouldn't lie about it. Does anyone else have any explanation as to why or how this would happen? I'm looking at reversing this and giving Purple the TE and balancing the budget.

The team that would acquire Chase also has Justin Jefferson in a 12-team league. These two already traded yesterday and the JJ/Chase team received Devonta Smith for Austin Ekeler.

League was very against it. What do you guys think, fair trade or veto-worthy?

One of the team managers in my league is wondering why Hunter only projects 1.69 when he’s starting as an IDP. I’m sure it’s just the yahoo projection thing is off as he should be able to get offensive ppr points regardless of where he starts? Anyone else do IDPs in their yahoo league that can help out or explain?

Should the trade be vetoed? There are no signs of collusion or history of collusion from either manager?

I love it, I love all the intricacies of it…. I wish I could run fantasy leagues for people that raised money for something or something just obviously how on earth would I take a cut? Business Sponsorships?

Trade that happened in my league. Just seems wild to sell charb after how good he looked week1 (healthier than k9), & brown is probably just injured? Feel like this trade could be done without charb included even lol. Thoughts? I don’t think it should be vetoed necessarily, just raised some eyebrows in my money league.
