What happend to the Tailchaser's song movie?
I don't know if anyone knew about the movie based on Tailchaser's song. Well there were talks back in November 2011 that the company Animetropolis was going to make the movie, with International Digital Artists. There were updates up until 26 July 2017 about the movie and they had concept artwork and news articles about it. Then nothing? It disappeared and there was no information about what had happened.
Well I decided to contact them on Facebook and I asked them "What happened to the movie?" I really wanted to know what had happened. And I got a response which was this. (https://i.imgur.com/Ce7KLjx.jpg)
I'm sad to say that means the movie might not be made anytime soon. I love how they made a joke that "Cats" happened. I was really hoping that maybe, just maybe it was being worked on, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems it was close to being finished? So who knows, maybe one day, it seems the company are working on "other projects." and put Tailchaser's song to the side.
I also found this information:

I could swear that I had seen a more definitive answer for why the movie wasn't getting made, but I'm not having much luck finding it on either Tad's twitter or facebook pages. Oddly enough, I'm not able to access his website either.

I had to look up the company, they do have a twitter and facebook page. I looked everywhere for a more definitive answer, but I could never find anything anywhere. If there was it must of been removed?
I could not access the website myself either. I tried to look at that also. It was weird.

I might be confusing it with another animated movie, but I thought it was being funded by some Saudi company, and then Tad decided to cut off that deal after the events of last year.

Oh I never heard that? It might be the same company. Animetropolis they are based in Austin and Tokyo, but I think the one in Austin got shut down, cause if you look it up it says Animetropolis LLC in Austin was shut down on April 22 2009 and their twitter page mentions Austin and Tokyo, same with their website.

Again, I might be mixing it up with another movie. The funding, not the animation company, would have been Saudi.

Yea I wouldn't know it then. Edit: Oh I did find this. Maybe it is the same one.

Tail chasers song was one of my first fantasy books that I read when I was very young and it holds a special place in my heart. I had no clue they wanted to make a movie and am so disappointed to see it never happened :( how unfortunate
