At least PD won't run over evidence, wash away evidence, tell the suspect he's free to leave, or start CPR on a body in full rigor.

I literally had cops doing CPR on a body in rigor this month.

I’m just happy they stopped giving narcan to trauma patients.

Guilty, I've been in a situation where I didn't even bother checking for rigor. As far as we were told, her roommate was in the room with this girl when she suddenly slumped over. She was already laying down in a good position with no pulse so I started singing Baby Shark. After a few minutes ems got there and as soon as they touched her they were like "she's cold as fuck" (which I couldn't feel through my gloves) and they realized she was in very early stages of rigor mortis. Turns out she had been dead in the room for a while with her roommate just chilling and ignoring her.

still not as bad as the roommate i had freshman year of college.
