Didn’t charge it though? Is there a fire, or did we jump the gun on this?

DCFD has 5 engines, 2 trucks, and a rescue squad on every box alarm. Of those 5 engines, at least 3 of them will have a water source no matter what. If the first or second due engine announces over the assigned channel that they are taking their own hydrant, they’re going to take their own. This is in line with their standard operating procedures. DCFD treats every reported fire as if it’s a fire until proven otherwise by fire department units.

Where I work has an almost identical box and procedures. So I stand by my question. And telling me their box assignments didn’t answer my question. But thanks for the info.
