Videos We’re building a dynamic firefighting sim where you battle massive wildfires solo or in co-op. Here’s what it looks like so far 👇

Maybe have ppe choice depending on which country the firefighters are from.

Sure, absolutely, I’m not a video gamer and I think it’s the same there whereby the aesthetics of the character seems really important. I’m just a bit shocked how many people really care about this above anything else.

(Especially given that the concerns of minority children wanting dolls, books and toys that look like them so that they can identify with them is seen as woke).

I think people just hate firefighter games that are not “realistic”. I know that I never fought a brush fire in turnouts. But apparently French Firefighters wear wildland gear that looks like turnouts. Customizing your character in a video game is a bonus. And if a kid wants his or her character to look more like themselves and it motivates them to become a firefighter, I’m all for it.

In Australia, our bushfire and structure PPE look almost identical from the outside, they are very different construction though, the bush gear is much thinner, like a pair of typical work pants, but made with FR cotton or amarid (nomex)
