News Multiple firefighters reportedly shot responding a wildland fire in Northern Idaho

Multiple firefighters have reportedly been shot during a shooting incident on Canfield in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Witnesses on social media claim that law enforcement officers may also have been shot and describe the situation as an active shooter event with additional victims. However, authorities have not yet confirmed these reports.

Hate to say it but I’m willing to bet that by the end of my career, I’ll be wearing a vest to medical calls if these things keep happening.

Not even in a big city just a big town city adjacent and we carry four vests on each apparatus

We’ve got vests for active shootings and the sort but these guys had no way of knowing what they were walking into.

No no I know, I think I just misinterpreted your initial as you insinuating you guys don’t carry them yet at all. My bad.
