“Three sources within the fire department with knowledge of the incident who spoke on the condition of anonymity told The Star that the training event was not authorized.“

So if it was unauthorized training, does that mean these guys just went training in the pool in their spare time? Something seems sus about this.

That was a hit piece of reporting. It wasn’t an unauthorized training. If you go to the KCFD Facebook page, they posted an open letter.
