Spoke with a guy at work originally from KC who said this is sensational and that it wasn't a secret how he died.

Well if the author is just after clickbait then it’s bullshit! I know that I heard when this LODD when it happened last year and don’t recall drowning being mentioned, just that he suffered at medical emergency while in water.

I work in the area, it was widely known he drowned the day it happened
