Training division out of Texas

For those of you who went through the online course “training division” to get your certs, do yall feel like you came out the other side with all of the knowledge and tools you needed?

They are both a certificate factory and a good program. You get out what you put in. Just read the slides and take the quizes/tests to pass compared to reading the book, asking questions, study, be interactive in skills days, etc

Agreed with the other post. I took the TD academy in November 2008. Got hired on a paid department in March 2009. The department didn’t care about where I went for academy. I highly recommend the place!

It was a blast. Only way I could do it with my work schedule at the time. Been full time FD for 13 years since. Getting hired on.
